The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information into the death of Jordan A. Keil.
Sheriff Matt Lutz said they recovered human remains on July 21 in the 2000 block of South Pleasant Grove Road. The remains were in advance decay stage.
The remains were identified as Jordan Keil from Hays, Kansas. Sheriff Lutz said it is suspected that Keil has been in the Zanesville/Muskingum County area on and off since December 2024.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone that had contact with Keil the weeks prior to July 21, 2025, to please contact Detective Sergeant Brady Hittle at 740-452-3637 ext. 6047 or at [email protected].
