The case came in the discussion in the Delphi Murders thread with an article from The US Sun.

Her remains were found almost 3 years later in 2009 per The Charley Project: Jorden Aryne Sopher – The Charley Project

There is very little in MSM on her case.

Here are a couple of links that still work.

Law enforcement could put out a "cold case" statement and appeal for information in her case.

Or maybe they could set up a Crimestoppers-type of reward for a tip leading to an arrest.

Why isn't more being done to get leads in this case? Do they not have resources to look at cold cases? (Honestly asking. Maybe more was done back when she went missing, but currently I can't find anything online from LE, old nor recent.)

Both are paywall articles. Are you able to summarize the articles, please? TIA

True Crime Files has a few details about the case, however, I don't believe its an approved site.

Jorden Sopher strongly resembles Richard Allen victim Libby German, jmo. And others on here feel that Libby resembles a family member of Allen. Image of Jorden Sopher:

To me, Jorden does indeed bear a strong resemblance to Libby. Jorden disappeared in May 2006 after visiting parents in Wabash. Her remains were recovered three years later near a creek in Miami County/near Peru IN. The remains were scattered along the creek in dense brush and were found by mushroom hunters. Richard Allen, interestingly, cited an interest in mushroom hunting when he was attempting to explain occasions when he might carry his firearm. Mushroom hunting was evidently one of those occasions.

Authorities were unable to determine cause of death because of the deteriorated condition of remains.
