IMO I believe what we are seeing is the Listing price, a high listing price IMO and not the actual Sale price..and I doubt the listing price reflects the current Market Value of the home.
I'd like to see the comparable listings and the final sell price for similar homes in that neighbourhood.

Its sale by owner my guess he made his own and didnt even compare.

You should be able to tell the rental from the owner occupied property. The rental property can't have the Homestead or Save Our Homes tax benefit, only an owner occupied dwelling.

Here is the rental property tax bill, I do not any exemption codes listed on this bill.

Did you see the first post of this thread LOL??? I attached the Lis Pendens notice. I downloaded it from the Osceola County Recorder. You can find the mortgage info there too.
Yep, I did. It was my Oh duh moment.

Ok, from reading the first page, JB mortgaged this home using his ML CMA account. In other words, he had money in ML and used it to guarantee the loan. When ML was purchased by BOA, they lost a boat load of money, especially on the mortgage side of ML. So what money was left in that account,probably close to nothing, went towards paying the mortgage balance when JB failed to pay his monthly payments.

The loan was apparently bundled and sold to US Bank, as BOA had to dump most of the bad loans. Not uncommon for this to occur either.

So JB lost his money in ML and then failed to pay his mortgage. That's all folks.

Now, where is the current sales listing ..... it shouldn't be a FSOB either.

Thanks. The plat descriptions on the foreclosure do not match the plat descriptions on the tax bill.

Thanks, but this really isn't important other than to show JB was stupid enough to use his personal ML account to buy property he can't afford. No a smart business decision. But he certainly wasn't the only person who did this back in late 06 early 07. Some people were foreclosed on within 6-9 months of signing their papers.

Yep, we are sure he choose the basic package, no $$$ involved. I am still giggling over that. Anyhow, this listing of his is very, very old. Just checking the 34743 listings and a new one has a listing id#10656106 where JBs was id#454981, lol. So gotta give JB and 1/100 of credit for attempting to sell it. :angel:

Granted, it's a crappy job, but someones got to do it...it's like proctology;)

His job has nothing to do with my opinion of him. I adore hardworking, reasonably honest defense lawyers- I wouldn't be here without 'em.

His listing price does not match the comparables in that area...

Yep, I don't know when JB "gave up" his real estate license, but it looks like he was playing the house flipping game at the wrong time. Out of the homes he was purchasing, he at some point in time decided to move into the fanciest one and claim it as his residence. Makes sense, until he could no longer afford it.

Again, he was among the millions out there who did this and now we JQ public are paying the price of their greed. IMO.
