that very well could be but they are talking out of both sides of there mouth, saying they know she is still alive, and then stating they know where she is. Its not like when this dies down they can go retreive her remains and bury her with dignity and no one will find out.

Okay Jose....why do you think they sent HOMICIDE detectives to arrest Casey on a "minor economic crime" ???? Talking out of both sides, indeed!

Right, instead "of" meeting his client "Casey" at the booking location....HE goes to the Anthony home and engages with the "media".....whines about the LE tactics to arrest Casey in front of the cameras.......Thats the pot calling the kettle "black" IMO.....and then Caseys Mother Cindy spews at NBC Today show that they didnt show "her" a warrent...........Well Sweetheart, the last time I checked......Casey is an adult, I saw the warrent in alink, they showed it to CASEY not to her mother- which is how it should be! Casey is over 18 and see how her mother still wants to control the show...furiating!!

That's not true. He heard the "leak" that LE was going to arrest Casey and based on the crowd's signs stating "put her back in jail" they were aware of the "leak" also. He offered to take her to them as would be done in any other case and they told him she wasn't going to be arrested. Did you see the detectives holding the door open so everybody could get a shot ? IMO, they were putting her at risk. I believe what Baez is saying about LE. This was nothing more than a publicity stunt and that's not what LE is about.

As far as the pot and the kettle, they should be held to higher standards than the general public.
Their motives are questionable IMO.

Mr Baez is just doing his job. He is being a defense attorney, and this is what defense attorneys do. He knows she is guilty, but he has to defend her. And PS I could never be a defense attorney, especially in this case. Because while we are all entitled to a trial, it's obvious "in this case" that Caylee is dead and Casey is the culprit. There is too much evidence.
She will have her day in court and all we can do is pray justice is served.

My thinking for the whole arrest on the Economic Theft charges on Friday is that with all the "leaks" about the decomposing human remains, and the DNA being of a diseased Caylee, made Casey VERY much a flight risk. And as irratic as Cindy's behavior has been lately, she may very well have been the one to facilitate that.
She was bonded out for one reason only, to do what JB said she would do, help find her "kidnapped daughter." She did nothing towards that cause, according to reports, never even spoke her name. Then the leaks.
LE had no choice but to put her behind bars to ponder the plea deal which expires Sept. 2nd.

If, as he claims, they really know where Caylee is or who has her, why don't they hire a PI or an undercover cop or heck, even someone in the mob??, to GO GET HER!!! IF it is really "all about Caylee".

I think Baez should offer himself up to change places with Caylee if she were being held by kidnappers. Well, I guess that might not work because the kidnappers would not want Baez.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Baez. He knows Caylee was not kidnapped. Lawyers like Baez are a disgrace to real lawyers. Not all lawyers are bad. I just happen to like Prosecuting Attorneys!

Instead of jumping at this golden opportunity to ask people to help FIND CAYLEE.... they are sticking with the ridiculous story that she's being held in some secret location..... every person who buys the lie is one less person who might be part of the search for Caylee.

They are desperate that Caylee's body NOT BE FOUND.... at least not until after the trial.... because for them it always was & always will be ALL ABOUT defending the person who killed Caylee.

I tend to not believe everything a lawyer says...According to Mark Geragos, Laci was kidnapped for her baby, then kidnapped because she witnessed a robbery and the stain in the brown van that she was kidnapped in was not her blood, just bbq sauce.
According to OJ's Dream Team, Nicole was murdered by a Columbian drug cartel.

And Kathleen Peterson fell down the stairs and received SEVEN deep lacerations in her skull while Mike Peterson was sitting by the pool on a 50 degree evening, just enjoying himself.

Yep...don't you wonder how these killers get their stories...or their lawyers? And some of these people are smart and I can't imagine how they thought these sounded like plausible theories!

I agree, the last thing Baez and the anthonys want is Caylee to be found. First, it puts their crap about Casey's story being true (kidnapping) and I dont think they want anyone to know how she died.

So of course they dont want the body found. Especially if its found in one of the places that LE targets as a place that her phone pinged etc.

Sounds as though JB does have his defense strategy in place. And he already has some great material to work with -- the phantom babysitter! It appears he has decided to just keep going with the lies peppered with a few half-truths.

I was on jury duty once in a robbery/kidnap case. The defense came up with a humdinger of a scenario involving an elusive "other" guy in a trench coat. It did not fool the jury, but he tried.

Isn't client/attorney privileged waived if the attorney knows information that could effect the safety of someone else in a crime that has not been committed yet?

IF Caylee is alive, and Casey has this info and shared it with Baez would he have either the option or obligation to divulge her location since it would only be common sense to believe Caylee is in danger and is likely to be the victim of other crimes?

There is no live child to bring home. If there was he would have answered the prosecuters office about the contents of said statement he wanted immunity for and counter offered their response with "my client can provide information leading to the safe recovery of Caylee and will cooperate with the prosecution of said individuals holding her". Nothing about their behavior says there is a live child out there and they both know it.

It is waived and it would be legal for him to do BUT he'd never get another client again. Lawyers have lost their careers afterward because of this kind of situation. I'm not saying his career is worth more than Caylee but it is a consideration (especially when you have a family of your own to feed). Also, Caylee has to be in danger, from Casey's actions assuming she were alive (which I'm 99.999999999999999999999999999% sure she's not), she is obviously NOT in danger. If someone has her alive (again NOT likely), it is 100% with Casey's permission.
