Las Vegas police are investigatingThe former MLB star denied allegations on the social networking site, tweeting: 'Breaking news this is a first folks las vegas police was just at my house i have been charged with rape by a **** from las vegas.' (sic)
Officer Bill Cassell said today that 48-year-old Canseco was named as a suspect in the investigation.
Word about the investigation became public after Canseco posted information about it on the social media network Twitter.
