I finally got it to work by clicking on the orange menu button on the left and viewing it as a slideshow. You get a tiny print page and have to click the zoom button up top a few times until you can read it, then you can read down the page using the scrollbar on the right to go down. To get to the next page, click the arrows up top... then you get the same tiny print, have to zoom, and repeat. It's kind of a pain but it doesn't disappear that way- at least for me.

Is this depo the notice of supplemental discovery filed yesterday? If not, I sure would like to know what discovery JB is filing at this late hour...

I could just hear Cheney's voice and drawl while I was reading the depo. I couldn't believe they had him doing the questioning. I was amazed that Mason knew what wii was - that floored me! lol

My take on the depo was that Mason (who did first part of the questioning) and Baez were their usual selves - Pick a word that starts with an "a". Baez was obviously not impressed that JP didn't think a good mother would let her child sleep in the same bed as the (latest) guy she was having sex with - You can tell that Baez took great umbrage at this suggestion. Both lawyers tried to make much of the globe story, drugs, chloroform, inappropriate jokes and why do you think ICA is weird. Actually, that was pretty funny when JP was trying to explain it - I'd say that guy has some pretty good gut instincts and he knows weird when he sees it.

Mason and Baez tried to gloss over pretty damn fast that JP didn't think she was a good mother and why - they did not want to hear that at all, to the point of not letting JP answer the question fully.

No, I think he had informal talks with them but as he spent very little time with Casey and didn't like her (according to his friends) he probably had less to tell.

I had no problems at all viewing this document. I hit "Download" and it opened as a pdf. Not one lick of trouble.

I can't say that for every document, though. Some are a killer, especially those huge ones.

Viewing it as a slideshow is a really good tip - I did that then pressed control + to enlarge it. Thank you as the doc originally keep cutting off after line 16.

For those having trouble viewing it I thought I would transcribe some of it where Baez is being an "unusual" person..

JP Chatt - "He (Ricardo) doesn't have an overly strong opinion about anything."

Baez - "Except chloroform."

Mr Ashton - "Oh come on!"

Baez - "Okay, don't worry he's (Mr Ashton) not testifying although he likes to think he is sometimes."

Mr Ashton - "No, I'm just the voice of reason."

Mason - "He's (Mr Ashton) just the guy of inappropriate jokes you were just talking about."

Just one example of the contemptible behaviour of both Baez and Mason.

I have to admit, I had to look that word up LOL.

IIRC JPC told AH that ICA could stay there but NOT with her new boyfriend. I was hoping to get more in this deposition as to why he didn't like her other than that she was 'wierd'.

I loved reading that JA says he is the voice of reason...priceless!

I think JP had a hard time putting a finger on why he thought she was weird - so ineffable means incapable of being expressed or described in words - JP just knew that there was something wrong or weird about her - bloody good judge of character in my opinion. I thought we might get more but really he didn't know too much more.

I love Jeff - always a hero in my book, he must hate having to work so closely with Mason and Baez, bet he can't wait till this is over.

In one of her first interviews, AH listed the friends in their circle and said JP was way less involved because he never liked ICA to begin with. From what I've seen of him he seems like a very successful young man. Wish I had time to read this now but gotta run to DDs school.
