I completely agree!
when a person has power over others it is wrong to use it to get sexual release. the balance of power between a teacher and student gives the teacher the upper hand every time. the fact these girls may have boyfriends that they have sex with would not change my feelings. a teacher that gives teenage girls drugs then has sex with them is a criminal. not the same type of criminal as if the girls are 12 and the law knows this. it is a different crime when the girl is 12 than when she is 15 for this very reason.OK, flame me if you must, but at some point in these cases involving kids of these ages (jr and sr high school kids), we need to look at the part they played as well.
Yes, this guy is wrong for doing what he did, but how innocent are these kids when they admit they did drugs with him... They are old enough to know better.
Let's face it, these girls are old enough to have a sex drive just like any other red-blooded person and would probably be having sex with a hs boyfriend if they had one.
Yes, these cases need to be looked at hard, but we need to start looking at both sides. Girls these days run around half naked and flaunt their sexuality. We are not dealing with a society of kids that are ignorant and naive about sex and, legally, we need to look at that.
I think these girls were having a good time with this guy until something went wrong - they were about to get caught, they got pi$$ed off at him - name your poison for a teenager....

Fagan, 40, of Sanford then was led from the courtroom in handcuffs while nearly two dozen of his former students and their parents watched.
