Jr's custody issue arising from Ron's arrest

Don't know IF it's true but Levi announced on his show Crystal has custody of Jr.

Art also said she got custody on NG last night. He also replied to someone on his site saying the same thing. Nobody from the media has been able to confirm though. Last I heard the media tried to contact CS and they could not get in touch with her. "IMO", I tend to believe she did though. I think if it were denied she would of went to the media, after all daddy is facing 25yrs in prison.

Oh, just checked on My My-space and one of my friends on there, that is friends with Marie as well said she did get custody. But, other than that, no media confirmation.:waitasec:

This might fall under some privacy issue, given that it is family court dealing with a minor, so maybe that is why we haven't heard anything quickly. If she got custody of jr, I hope there was a stipulation that custody of and dealings with Haleigh was put in her custody, as well. Regardless of Haleigh being missing, she still has an existence that has to be covered in some way.

Since she's still officially 'missing' and the haven't declared that this is a murder investigation, then yes. CS should also get custody of Haleigh upon her return. That should have been included in the paperwork, at least, I hope it was.

I don't think Haleigh is alive, but until she's declared deceased or is found to be deceased then the law should still consider her alive legally. That would include her custody.

I am glad that CS was able to obtain custody, IF it is true. Hopefully she was able to clean up her life a bit. JMO

I agree with the above posts regarding custody of HaLeigh, IF she is found alive, which my heart hopes she will be found alive but my mind is saying it has been too long.

Just a question here. When emergency custody is granted does that mean that Crystal no longer pays any child support to Ronald, who is incarcerated. Is the child support covered in the same legal document as the custody order?

I hope and pray with this decision all of Butterbean's family will get their act together, Haleigh is found and this child will someday begin to have a happy, prosperous, educated life....

His family should make sure this child never sees a drug in his life. I hope the MEDIA will stay away from him....he has been through enough in his little life already.

IIRC: I know she has admitted to having a drug abuse problem in the past, but I truly feel his is going to much safer in her arms than around all of the Cummings. :clap:


I also agree that the media should stay away from the little guy....he has been through enough & just needs the loving arms of his mommy right now! :woohoo:

I bet Crystal is on cloud 9, but at the same time wishes she had Haleigh in her arms right now. It's probably a sad day & a happy day for her at the same time! IMO

I wonder if Crystal had to agree on a visitation arrangement of some type with TN & GGS's? Wouldn't be surprised as I'm sure GGS's played up Jr. needing to go visit his daddy regularly at the county jail... Just hope that Crystal plays it real smart because, if TN & GGS's can't raise bail to get Ronald out of jail, they're going to focus all of their time and attention on making Crystal's life he$$ - IMO. You can bet your patuttie that TN's stocked up on a motherload of batteries, thumb-drives (for pics), and legal pads. The best thing that Crystal can do is keep her interactions with these two cordial and to a minimum. Like KP, they'll try to befriend her just to burn her. Be smart Crystal and take a lesson from the PCSO - not only with the Cumming's clan but with everyone else, including the media - keep it close to the vest! If you need to talk to someone you can trust to get sh*t off your chest, go to a professional counselor, who, by law can't breach your trust/privacy - and just know that there are many, like myself, praying for you because we want you and your kiddo's to be healthy, safe & happy.

Just summizing here but I'd be inclined to believe that when a change of custody results from an emergency custody order, there would also be a child-support modification issued based on the "new" custodial arrangement.
