'Madison Heights Police are seeking information about an endangered 76-year-old woman who went missing after dropping her daughter off at work.

Juanita Clowney was last seen on Sunday (Nov. 2) when she dropped her daughter off at her job at the Henry Ford Hospital Main Campus in the 2799 block of West Grand Boulevard in Detroit around 6 p.m.

Madison Heights police said Clowney was supposed to pick up her daughter at 7 a.m. on Nov. 3.

Clowney has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and takes medication every day for it.

All of her medications are at the hotel she is staying at in Madison Heights.

Clowney is possibly in the beginning stages of Dementia, according to police.'

Not mentioned in the article, but Madison Heights is about 12 miles north of Detroit, where she was last seen.

I hope she’s found safe.

Is the car missing? I don't see a description of the vehicle she was driving.

I haven't seen an official source on the vehicle. Lots of facebook comments saying she was driving a blue trail blazer, but the media hasn't included that information for some reason.

Questions that came to mind: Why didn't the daughter know the make and model of vehicle if her Mom was driving her to and from work? I'm assuming she was last seen in the vehicle as I've not seen where it was located without her.

Why was the missing woman staying in a hotel? Was she visiting and therefore unfarmiliar with the local roads and the area - could make a difference if she has early dementia.

A few new details.

"According to authorities, Juanita Clowney was last seen by her family on Nov. 2 in Detroit. She was later seen driving a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer in Clay Township in St. Clair County about six hours later."

'The body of a missing woman was recovered from the St. Clair River's North Channel on Monday, officials said.

Juanita Clowney, 76, was found in a submerged vehicle on Monday, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

She was alone in the vehicle, which was near a boat ramp in Algonac, department public information officer Erika Hrynyk said.'
