Detroit police are asking the public for help finding a missing woman last seen in June.

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for help finding a missing woman last seen in June.

Shyvonne Davis, 32, was last seen leaving her home in the 20500 block of Hamburg on June 26, 2025. She has not returned home since.

According to police, Davis was last seen wearing a black and grey sweater, tan shirt and black shorts.

She is 5'10", 250 lbs.

Davis has rainbow braids.

Does that mean she was found safe? "Recovered" sounds like her body was found?

"Recovered" is a term often used when the person is deceased but not always. There were no reports in msm about any bodies being found in the Detroit area around the time she was reported as "recovered" so it may have just been the choice of words.
