Maybe if LE had taken his clothes back in June (like all of them), he would have been busy purchasing new clothes instead of worrying about things like laundry, trips to HT, changing shoes, organizing shoes on the garage shelf, etc, etc, etc.

Well sure - after all Brad ESP - he hired a lawyer to fight a custody issue that had not yet arisen.

By the way, I see your buddy J.A. Young is also working away on the Maria Herrera-Diaz case as well. Found murdered in her apartment in Cary back in September. Seems he knows who to suspect but LE has not caught up with the perp yet as he is on the run. Hope your buddy catches up with Cobos.

Judge Sasser has ruled on the injunction - BC may not dispose of any assets. Should the home sell, proceeds are to go into escrow.

This is true Star, but on the good side - Nancy's family no longer has to foot the bill to bring the kids to Raleigh since BC wasn't issuing checks that were clearing the bank. A bit of relief there that could be put toward the care of the children instead.

I had pre-Christmas dinner with the Director of the CCBI and his family. Of course most of the discussions were family related, I did ask him about the Nancy and Michelle Young cases.

He mainly deals with high level day to day operations and not directly involved with evidence in the cases. He makes sure his team has what they need to do their job. He is not in the lab or looking at DNA results. His investigators are the ones on the front line.

He is a professional and I could tell he did not want to say anything at all. Only thing he said about Nancy was that the case was highly circumstantial, but believes there is enough to convict. He thinks Brad is guilty.

The Michelle Young case was a different story. He said he was not quite sure that Jason did it and said it will be hard to convict him based on what he knows right now. Jason may get away with it - if he did it.

That is all that was said and I did not want to push the issue since it was a family get together with his family and grandchildren and my family.

Hi Garner,

Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing that info. I would have wanted to ask a ton of questions of the Director too. At least little dribs 'n drabs (of info) are coming out. The arrest likely would not have moved forward if the DA didn't believe he had enough evidence to prove his case BARD (beyond a reasonable doubt). We shall see if he does prove it.

As for the JLY case can't believe the Director is doubting that one. That's troubling to read. :-(
