Ok this "Brosnan" guy - 14 yrs with NYPD - 10 yrs detective. Knows of Stanton - Stanton wasn't with NYPD that long - he said "short time". He doesn't understand what BS is going to be able to accomplish that 300 boots on the ground along with FBI won't.

The wealthy anonymous benefactor is just an odd slant to all this - according to this guy.
