Wow, I was quite surprised to read that USA Today article that said Alyce had to have an Emergency Room visit over this past weekend due to an anxiety attack and palpitations. <modsnip>

I guess it surprises me because she struck me as a very strong person while on the witness stand. But I guess anyone can suffer from anxiety, no matter how strong they are.

I'm pretty sure the guy who wrote the article is the one that KCL had described as "burned out". The article was very favorable to Alyce's point of view. But I did notice an error in the article. The author stated that Juan Martinez and Alyce "exchanged insultss" during her testimony. I do not recall Juan insulting Alyce. Unless Alyce felt that being questioned about the "error" on her CV - the one where she listed herself as the Keynote Speaker when somebody else was actually the Keynote Speaker - was an insult?

i'm soooo grateful they notice the communications betwen ALV and the defense team, i missed those. gonna have to look up the day on youtube.

thank you so much for transcribing the questions!

It is very calming to read these questions again. Some of these jurors are paying very close attention.

One of the questions I would like a juror to ask is: When jodi arrived at the car rental agency, she had blonde hair. When she arrived at Travis' home, she had dark hair. Did jodi tell you where and why she had her hair dyed?

Thank you Schuby for all your hard work! Did wenwe transcribe the answers? We should include them here too!?

The jury is paying attention and it's my opinion they "get" the State's case! I love the jury system in Arizona. Whichever jury is leaning towards any type of self-defense, gets to hear their peers questions and the "experts" answers! We still have follow up... Then, on to rebuttal! Juan still has REBUTTAL!! I am confident.

Did someone go back to the video the juror mentioned yet? We should post that here. Down to the exact date/time. Even though it's been reported the jury doesn't look, obviously they do..and they are certainly paying attention to the witnesses. Wonder what they think of JA's antics? :floorlaugh:

Justice for Travis!

Question from the juror: Q: "On April 9th, at approximately 11:33 AM, when discussing Jodi waitressing at the Purple Plum, (missed middle part) you looked at Jodi, shrugged your shoulders and gave a half smile. Why do you continue doing this?"

Here is the video from April 9. The Purple Plum testimony starts at approximately 1:27 and goes to about 1:40. I didn't catch the shrug of the shoulders and 1/2 smile. Maybe someone else can? I was a little fuming watching this all over again. :furious: Maybe the camera wasn't on ALV. :banghead:

Credit to CroakerQueen. Thank you, whoever you are.

I suggest a drink, or some type of soothing agent, before you take on this task. It's a good review, as JA and JW clearly despise this line of questioning! The most animated you will see JA. It's the part where Juan calls her a murderer a few times too..and no objection.

What happened at the Purple Plum? Anyone? She manipulated someone after the murder and all the pro's know about it. Hmm..I don't recall. :what:

Good luck!

The camera's on ALV only about half the time during this, so it easily could have happened within the juror's view but not be on this clip.

I know. I took one for the WS team and watched it again, trying to find the shrug and 1/2 smile the juror asked about. It was painful. Haha.

I find it comforting that it seemed to bother this juror that the expert witness was smiling at the killer. I like that reaction by a juror.

Using your post as a jumping off point, I was wondering, did they find the screws that hold the front license plate on, and if so where?

My other question is, do we know if MM is on the witness list for either side?

after these questions, i can't even begin to imagine which ones got rejected, lol. wow!

I don't remember hearing anything about the screws being found. I don't think the killer mentioned anything about the screws when she told her story about 'finding' the front plate in the pking lot and picking it up.

I don't think MM is on either witness list right now. I think he scares both sides. He is unpredictable. And he has already admitted that he'd lie for her, so he is already impeachable.

He doesnt want to testify. He knows something.

Thanks so much, Schuby. I missed most of yesterday because of real life interruptions. After reading these questions, I strongly feel the jury gets it. They really, really understand the lies of JA.

A special thanks to all the WS's that transcribe and recap events of the day!!! Like most others out here, real life gets in the way on occasion.

From reading the latest juror questions, I have a very good feeling they see the biased testimony and will disregard it.

Justice for Travis!
