Justin Bieber Antics

When he was here in Australia he didn't think much of his fans. Was late to every performance. And I mean late. Some had paid big bucks for a meet before the show and he hadn't even arrived when the show was due to start.

IIRC, he did the same thing for a couple of his Brazil dates.
Total disregard for his fans (most of whom look up to Bieber) who paid lots of money to see him perform. He's even cut concerts short, faked illnesses to get out of shows. I mean really....if he doesn't enjoy what he does, why not retire? I'd be happy.

This is all just my two cents and what not.

Bieber may be young and doing a lot of partying like many college age kids do, but most don't egg neighbor's homes and cuss out cops when caught. He seems to feel entitled to do what he wants where he wants. He has enough money to party safely without terrorizing residential neighborhoods. When a dad is in on it, that's just so sissy and pathetic. He must not have a lot of real friends to do things with.

I really have no knowledge of Bieber other than that he is famous, and that Steely Dan and I have attended 68 of his concerts together, but I do strongly believe that he doesn't have the sort of friends that you or I would call 'real'. And I don't blame him/it for that. I'd imagine it would be pretty odd to be a mega-million earning teen.

nope, just the friends who like to do drugs and break the law it seems.

on his twitter page, he thanks Lil Wayne for letting him use his skate park.

People like LW are the type of people he hangs out with.

It's been seventy. I think you're forgetting Toronto and the private one I had set up at the emu farm.

Picturing Toronto's mayor boogying at a Beiber concert.

I'm going to either rupture something laughing, or have horrible nightmares.

Being thrown into super-stardom as a teenager + becoming a multi-millionaire before he's 20 + parent(s) who enable (Dad helping to block the street? Really???) = Recipe for disaster. THAT, my friends, is not his fault.

The poor kid didn't have a chance.

My sister is a recovering addict. She did SO MANY stupid, moronic, selfish, illegal, irresponsible, STUPID (yes, I said stupid again), unbelievable, etc. things in her past. I could have given up on her. I could have said she was a punk, a careless, selfish beetch, and an idiot and turned my back. But I didn't. Because she is a human being who is prone to mistakes. It doesn't make her a bad person.

She is one of the most amazing people I've ever known in my life. I'm so glad I never stopped being on her side. And I hope Justin's family doesn't give up on him.

He's making REALLY stupid decisions. Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a chance, some empathy, and love.

It's really sad to me how easy it is for people to judge, point fingers, and call names at a young man whose outcome has been determined not solely on his own choices but those of the parents who raised him.

We all, as adults, need to take accountability for our actions. But our upbringing plays a major role into the adults we become.

He may be acting a fool right now but who created, raised, and helped to mold that fool?

You're half-right. I did forget Toronto, but I still don't count the emu farm incident, as you promised that it was some sort of emu-mating project that 'the Beeb' was assisting, just because you were homeys. So by my tally, that would put us at 69.

I am not a Bleebleber, or Believber, or whatever it's called, but I agree with you. Given his personal history, I think it would be unfair to expect him to grow up as Wally (or even Beaver) Cleaver. And I can't help but suspect that some envy around his wealth and fame makes him an easier target than most kids for most adults.

Bleeblerelrelere or Belivereereer :floorlaugh:

And to the rest... :loveyou:

He may have millions, but it's not going to last long taking his age into the equation and the money he is throwing around. He will be a down and out has been before he knows it. Especially with his 'yes' men to pay off and I bet his parents are getting a stash too. Someone earlier mentioned Elvis Presley. He had very little left when he died. He has made a lot more now that he is dead. But unfortunately he can't spend it.

I love this.

Mackenzie Phillips: Laughing at Justin Bieber Trivializes His Situation

"You can't know what someone's thinking," she says. "It could be absolute fear and terror, especially if he was still under the influence of whatever he says he was under the influence of."

"You look at that mug shot, and you see he's smiling. But look in his eyes. There's fear there, I think."

"The more people that laugh and giggle and make fun of a wasted celebrity who's in handcuffs, the fewer people are going to go out and find recovery for themselves because that's where they get their nods for behavior, what people are going to make fun of," she says.

"The more we as a society make fun of people who are having severe difficulties and are abusing substances and alcohol, it trivializes a life-and-death battle that [some] people are going through."

And it's not okay just because he's a star, she adds.

"People say it's a Hollywood problem, but you know these are people's children, too," says Phillips. "And the prescription-drug epidemic problem is out of control. We just hear about it more when it's a Justin Bieber or a Lindsay Lohan … and I try to have some compassion."

BBM. I totally agree with her. I don't think it is funny at all. The mugshot was taken when he was buzzed and reality had not sank in. The video of the bond hearing was totally different. Some say he looked arrogant. I think he looked scared. I think he had sobered up and suddenly realized he was not in a good situation.

Justin Bieber music banned on Ottawa radio station until he goes to rehab

TORONTO – An Ottawa radio station is enacting a ban on pop star Justin Bieber’s music, in an effort to send him a message to ‘get help,’ following his Thursday arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, drag racing and driving with an expired license.

Thoughts? Do you think other radio stations should do same? Would it help?

"Bieber's deadbeat dad who dumped him as a baby... and came back to land Justin in jail"

"Just hours after being released on bail following his arrest for driving under the influence, Justin Bieber was photographed with his father Jeremy at the home he is renting in Miami."

"He seemed to be celebrating his freedom next to a table strewn with bottles."

"He had refused to board a private jet organised by his management team, who wanted him to leave Florida and enter rehab as soon as possible."

I think the media is not helping. CNN is airing a special tonight. Justin Bieber's Wild Ride.

:banghead:

I am no Justin Bieber fan by any means. You are right, the media is feeding and enabling him. He needs to disappear from the public.

calling it, dead by 21

I would not be surprised by it. There is also the 27 Club.
