@feels_close_to_home I was wondering whether he was in NamUs (maybe not visible to the public?) Thanks for trying to add him.

it sometimes just takes a bit for someone to confirm it as a valid entry. My accounts submitted a few so i don't expect this one to get rejected.

I have been following Justin’s story. Has anyone heard of any updates?

nothing new found on my end, i have a few messages out to various people trying to get footage of when I think something would have happened. Still do a morning round once a week or so on him trying to find anything.

Thanks for checking up on this. I'm sure it means a lot to his parents.

Could the mods rename the thread with his name, age and location? I think it might be helpful so that way it also comes up in search results

@GraceG He may have been picked up 6/11/25 by police and is in custody.

I'm looking for documentation on it, but you can probably find it in seconds, i don't have California resources bookmarked for this.

Most of California requires a payment to do a search of records. Some appear to be free, and after you register comes the $49 a month to subscribe surprise.

If Justin's Mom wants to do a search (it's 5 bucks) from the LA Superior court records here is the link to do a query. You can't drill down by date of birth, just first and last name so there may be more than one Justin Lederer in the system. Superior Court of Los Angeles A public record request can also be made with the Clerk's Office at: [email protected], phone at (818) 548-4000

Longshot but...

Justin,
I think you and I have some pretty similar minds. If I were you, and I ran in your situation, I'd 100% be watching this from somewhere, somehow. There's no real conclusion to anything when you run like this. You need to an ending. I shot you a message to your eyyyyyyyyyyy facebook profile. I'd love to chat.

How good was he taking his meds, if he was given any to start with?

Does anyone know if his mom saw this?

I don't know if she's seen THIS, but she knows about the arrest, she actually reached out to me. I've forwarded her the information that @GraceG posted, she's more than thrilled that her son was arrested, but AFAIK she hasn't 'seen' him yet.

Better arrested than dead, I suppose.

Thanks for helping her -- I'm glad she has found help here and that she trusted you to contact you.
