Ewwww...well, we all thought it...but ewwwwww. I wonder why? I mean, he's obviously a pedophile but seems to focus on little girls...why become a girl himself?

He is one sick puppy.

Just that it makes it easier to gain little girls' confindences and that it appears more proper to hug and cuddle with them... if he's a teacher.

Doesn't surprise me one bit so that's why i speculated thusly.

there is nothing wrong with him looking for a sex change in principle, unless it was in order to be in a position to gain little girls' confidence.

obtaining female hormones in jail will possibly be the last thing on his mind as he will probably have to contend with other . . . issues amongst cell mates, i think!

I'm not sure how it works in Thailand but anyone in the US has to see a psychiatrist before embarking on this and then must live as the sex they wish to transgender to for one year. This gender dismorphia is considered a medical decision (for lack of a better word). It's not done on a whim. These people have had extensive testing and show that they have a "male" or "female" brain function. So, that being said I would think he would be provided those hormones while incarcerated just like he would for any other medical condition. Once a person goes on the hormones it tends to cause them to be on an emotional roller coaster and I would think they would want to keep him as sane and calm as possible in order to question him.
Like I said though that's how it works in the US; not sure what they do in Thailand.

I'm a psych nurse and in the past we saw a lot of men who were wishing to obtain a sex change. Two yrs ago, while doing more research, and also from a friend of mine, I learned that one is no longer required to seek psychiatric treatment in order to be transgendered. I pretty sure they do still have to live and dress as a female for a year, though.

We've done pretty good figuring this guy out I think. A bit of a recap is we thought he possibly sees himself as the ultimate mother to all these little girls he loves so much, or Patsy Ramsey

And our thoughts about him being in process of the change to becoming a full fledged female was tipped off by his demeanor of feminity almost to an extreme and having female breasts which are certainly already grown. He leads with his chest like a woman does when she walks, and almost reminds me of a gal that has gone through charm school, having learned how to sit and walk like a lady.

I wish they'd stop replaying that scene where the guy in the red shirt comes up and languishes his hand on Karr's arm. He's another like Karr I think, in the process of changing. They might be close and going through this together. Heck, no one would want to go through it alone, I would think. Anyway, I appreciate everyone's right to be or become anything they want to as long as they are lawful and ethical.


Now this morning there is a little 6 year old girl they think Karr might have killed in Ca. We might just have the tip of the iceberg here, and I'm now wondering if that look of something horric on his face during that news conference is he knows darn well now what he's going to be up against, and anything wrong he has done to a little girl is going to come back to haunt him.

And I think he will be left half completed as a female, as I can not imagine any state in the Union paying to complete a transgender sex change! Can you?

Cause some of the guys will sure like someone as feminine looking as him being in their cell (he may even have female parts if he's had surgery).

He would most likely never be put with female prisoners even if he has had some gender surgery but the female prisoners probably wouldn't mind.

I wonder where he will be safer? I don't want him harmed until we find out what he has to say and if his DNA matches etc.

I could see transgender prisoners being a real problem for officials in an institutional setting.

Hey guys, we were right on! You bet he had a bra under that shirt, as in his mind he is already female and so it was normal and necessary! OH, what has this world become.

And like we said here earlier today, he might now find himself in prison or jail for a time with no female hormones and no follow-up sessions with plastic surgeons or nothing scheduled for the next surgery, and the one after that or how ever it goes.

I am new to the case, but the minute I learned a tool was used inside JonBenet to simulate sex, it reeked to me of someone who had a different sexual mission with her. Not normal erotic male female touching, but kind of an offshoot of having real sex, in place of it. I think using his penis left him always denied of pleasure - he possibly was impotent. Maybe it was teeny. So instead of normal sex like rapos do, he had learned to improvise, and it might have gone well until the brush handle broke inside of her and she screamed out, the neighbors hearing her.

He probably already had the garotte in place and tightened to help his arrousal and then suddenly panicked because it was too late. She was already past coming back, and she knew who he was. Loving her was not enough at that moment and I think he flipped out and it happened so fast, slamming her on the head like that and maybe stringing her up. I don't know.

She died and he is so out of touch with reality. Actually, running through this scenario I realized he will pull an insanity plea and probably get it if he is ever brought to trial.

What a loss. It just makes me want to puke thinking about it. I'm beginning to hold Patsy responsible for her death as she made such a spectacle of her daughter that it invited a sicko like this into their lives.

What he is doing to himself NOW means nothing to what happened 10 years ago. He wasn't undergoing gender reassignement 10 years ago. For all we know he was pretty hefty, and was certainly virile enough to sire 3 boys. He was in a hetero marriage 10 years ago, apparently desperate to breed little girls of his own. This guy is a nutter, sure enough. But he's not the killer. He probably would LIKE to be the killer, but so far all he's managed to be is a pedo.

I have a dear friend that is going for gender reassignment. They were a male and are becoming female. They are still attracted to females. Not sure exactly what that means except now I guess she would be considered a lesbian.

My problem with transgenders who do that is it means they usually view being a woman as being "easier" than being a man. (I had an uncle in law pull that crap on the family 20 years ago) Although if they thought being a lesbian in a man's body was hard, trying being an ugly woman in our society, regardless of your preference.
