Brit rock star Tom Meighan, frontman of band Kasabian, has accidentally run over his dad.
It seems like the English preference for gear/stickshift cars was at the root of the incident.
Dad asked Meighan, who says he can drive but doesn't have a license, to take the handbrake off the car. Instead Meighan pushed it into drive, ran his dad down and had to rush him to hospital.
That was the worst day of my life.
I can drive but it was in an automatic car. It was too fast. It was a real shock at the time.
Dad's okay though, and they can 'laugh about it now'.
