Ratings for Regis Philbin's daily talk show have been soaring since his former co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford, left on July 28.

The first three weeks of "Live with Regis" this summer had 26 percent more viewers than the same three weeks of "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" last year, according to Nielsen Media Research....

I don't know....as much as Kathie Lee bothers me, Kelly Ripa bothers me 10 times more. I am so not a violent person but whenever I see Kelly Ripa on TV, I just want to slap the $&#@ out of her.

I disagree Kathy Lee is the 11 of annoying. Kelly Ripa is the 5 of annoying, IMO

Something about this woman always bothered me a great deal. She was irritating but also seemed narcissistic and very phony. And the constant blathering about her perfect kids - ick. The whole thing was annoying.

I have seen her a few times with Hoda and she seems tipsy a lot. Hasn't changed much. So sad for Mr. Short. It must have felt like a knife in the gut.

I hope he's doing well. I think it's harder for men to lose a spouse.

:floorlaugh: Methinks that KLG starts drinking wine or whatever in the limo each morning on the way to the studio. By the time she's on air, she's probably had several glasses of vino and and is clueless about how loud and obnxious she sounds :tipsy:

You know what seriously irritates me? That flippin' commercial of Kelly Ripa's where she's pushing some type of washer and dryer set. She's running around a house and says that while her clothes are washing/drying, she has time to bake a batch of cookies. Uhhhhh....yeah.....right....like we REALLY believe you do your own laundry, let alone know how to bake cookies. I seriously roll my eyes every time I see that commercial.

(I am obviously in a bad mood today and need to quit complaining about Kelly Ripa....hahaha)

Since Kelly made it known that she plays favorites with her kids, perhaps it is Joaquin's (the favorite) laundry she is doing and cookies she is making, in the commercial.

I bet ya, somewhere in the future, a therapist could probably get really rich from counseling Kathie's 2 kids and Kelly's other 2 non-favorite kids.
