Happy Easter everyone. If you are the praying kind, please include my brother (again) who after making much progress kind of took a turn for the worse this weekend. I'm exhausted, my Dad is here now and I'm not so sure that was the best idea. Anyway, he could use the love. :please:

YOu have them Katie. Prayers for all of you.

KCL I am so sorry that things are not so good. Just hang in there. My Dad used to tell me that if things aren't working out right now, maybe it is because things aren't finished yet. He was a very wise man. It may take awhile but things will work out.

O/T your cranberry sauce was a big hit around here. My family accused me of having someone else make it. LOL!

Katie,
I am praying for your brother, for you and for your dad, for love and understanding.

Sorry to hear this news Katie, I thought with your Dad's arrival things would ease up for you. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks ladonna and everyone. I guess I kind of forgot temporarily that my Dad IS 82 and comes with his own sets of needs. I told him today I just need to unplug for a couple of days. Alfonse has really become, well, just fully in to his symptoms again and I need to let my Dad take over for awhile in the best way he can (thank God they haven't discharged him from the hospital though). I've been managing both of them and their various health crises nonstop since last Spring. My Easter is being spent in an egg myself, cocooning.

Thanks for the love everyone. :grouphug:

Sending you love and hugs in your cocoon, Katiecoolady. Prayers for healing and peace for all of you.

I know you are dealing with a lot on your plate this weekend, but something has to be done about Michael Keifer.

This is just one of his mean tweets today:

@michaelbkiefer Jodi Arias could've been cheaply+efficiently in prison on a bulletproof 2nd degree murder plea but for vanity of prosecutor

He's commited t making a spectacle of himself now. Disgusting. I need to reply to that.

Didn't find that one yet but replied to another one with this:

Kathy Monkman ‏@katiecoolady now @michaelbkiefer @careyanneb Do you plan on witnessing my sister's killer's execution? Just curious. Do you think Cathy Hughes was "vain"?

Took a hot bath and rested and will be ready for blogtalkradio w/ tricia in a few...

Eeeeew! Thanks in advance for anything you (and maybe other WS "Tweeps") do to wake this guy up. He's causing his own burnout with his closed mind and bored, cynical, smarter-than-everyone tone.

I hope the hospital hasn't put your brother on antibiotics, unbeknownst to you.

Franq THEY HAVE. He developed 2 more boils and I keep hammering and hammering on this issue...he went psychotic again in just about the same time frame as the last time. Hoping the doctor will pay attention this time. Thanks for remembering that.

he claims he did not write this--edited to add, someone sent that TO him--I suck at twitter

I hope the prosecution can spend equal amount of time lecturing all of the jury and anyone who will listen what the meaning of "Reasonble "Doubt' is. Most attorneys assume (incorrectly) that is it clear. The majority of cases lost are lost becuase some juror was not going to embarrass themselves and ask for an explanation and ask again if they didnt get it. Many, many people think if the have a doubt, then they must acquit.

A doubt doesn't mean that you can't vote guilty...not at all. People have doubts all the time. The point is...is it reasonble or not? If it is not reasonable, then you must convict.
Oh man...somebody's got to teach this to all the public. Twelve jurors in Tampa got it wrong....totally wrong. They thought it wqs "Beyond the shodow of a doubt".

It you wake up and the streets are wet you don't assume an aircraft just dropped water or over your neighborhood (possible, but not likely because that is not reasonable). you assumed it rained...that is reasonable.

The OJ jury and the anthony jury didn't have any logical thinkers seated. Both could not connect the dots and both said they had doubts so they wouldn't convict. Their doublt were NOT reasonable and they certainly should have convicted. There needs to be an extensive test given to jurors to see if they comprehend the term. Juries need abstract thinkers.

:giggle: Tampa is not in Pinellas County. I only giggle because I am from Pinellas County and I am from Clearwater across the bay from Tampa which is in Hillsborough County.

I just want to warn everybody. I read about this on another site this evening.

One other thing- if you post on FB pages, the JAII page is taking default pics and making fb pages in people's names- then posting as if they are that person. Just a FYI. (And the reason you'll never catch me on the State vs. Jodi page- or any other page)
