I think she is studying Buddhism.:floorlaugh: Knowing kc, she probably thinks she is the living on the set or the star of Eat, Pray, Love. (the movie)

I believe she may be residing on Simm's property in St. John's County. Simms has a non-profit retreat on her estate with a Buddhist monk. She calls it the Vision Farm Retreat and Meditation Center...Perfect..don't you think? I have a feeling the Grief specialist may work/perform there. This is speculation but I think I am on to something.

Keep in mind, the former defendant reported to the St. Johns Probation office.

Your speculation may be right on the money. I must say, however, in order to even understand the movie Eat, Pray, Love one must at least have the ability to empathize with other human beings feelings. FICA does not possess this characteristic, therefore, I would have to think she would not been able to finish this particular movie as she would be unable to grasp the whole plot of the movie. Buddhism (from the very little I know)is a very introspective and deep religion and JMO but I think FICA is about as deep as a teaspoon....If your theory is correct, I feel sorry for the Monk.

wonder how Buddhism will work out for her? she will have LOTS of work to do on herself, IMO :great:

the 5 Buddhism precepts from 2 sources, (one was wikipedia, for what that is worth, just google 5 buddhist precepts):

[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Precepts"]Five Precepts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

"The precepts in both traditions are essentially identical and are commitments to abstain from harming living beings, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and intoxication. Undertaking the five precepts is part of both lay Buddhist initiation and regular lay Buddhist devotional practices."
(underlining mine)

"The Five Precepts are the basis of Buddhist morality. The first precept is to avoid killing or harming living beings. The second is to avoid stealing, the third is to avoid sexual misconduct, the fourth is to avoid lying and the fifth is to avoid alcohol and other intoxicating drugs."

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT Casey, :seeya:

I think you're on to something too. Do we know for sure that she reported to the St. Johns probation office?

Is Linda Sims really that wealthy to have an "estate" with a retreat and a Buddhist monk? I guess defense attorneys can rake in the cash.

I just went and re-checked her probation order, and I'm reminded that she has until the 5th of the month to appear. Does anyone know if she's been paying the $20.00 fee and 4% surcharge?

BBM. I am also wondering if her reporting in St. John's was in the news. If so I must have missed it. Thanks.

I found some unconfirmed information on the "Casey Trackers" website. I will PM it to you because I don't know if we can post links to that site.

From what I can see, the info on that probation 'sighting' was taken from a post from the fake FCA on that fake Casey Anthony facebook page. I think she's in N.Fla. but who knows? Not sure I care as long as she's not making the big bucks wherever she is. I do care that she's having to report, and hopefully being questioned about her supposed indigent status, etc. so will be watching for monthly reports.

I am so with you on this, Whisperer!!

Oh and I've been to Grief Therapy - the works and I never saw one like the lady that appeared at the trial. She may be a nice lady but all she is is the speaker thats talking in the background while you eat your dinner at a function.

How long do you think after being with KC the Monks will be knocking it down to four precepts, starting with number five? jmo

bbm

you mean ....she's the one ranting in the corner at the bar while you're trying to get your game of pool on :floorlaugh:

For what its worth-

I was a practicing Buddhist for over 3 years.

If there are genuine practicing Buddhists at the Simms hideaway- where I too believe FCA is hiding out out- then FCA is no doubt keeping as far away from them as she can get. Real Buddhists have the best BS detectors of any folks I have ever encountered.

Every aspect of the first years of learning Buddhism is devoted to stripping away the many layers of unreality Buddhists believe all of us use to veil the emptiness of a kind of our inner selves.

IMO and in my experience, if FCA was a normal human being who had made a terrible mistake, a year-long Buddhist retreat would do her wonders. Alas, my very best guess is that Simms' idea of Buddhism is as shallow as the DT's choice of a "grief expert" and that the "Buddhists" she employs are that only in name.

Even if Simms employed the real thing, what Buddhism requires of its followers is simply and absolutely beyond FCA's abilities. No doubt she gives it lip service as required and then laughs herself silly at these folks she perceives as naive if not plain vanilla stupid.

jmo-kc is straightening out w Buddism just like I'm sure she is doing Pilaties every day, and I'm sure thats the name of the pool boy, Pilates. :floorlaugh: I wonder when her P.O. Will do her house check? Or is that just another pesky little detail that they have brushed aside, you know, because ahem she is in such demand oops danger? Am I wrong for just plain enjoying the bella velveeta she has today? I bet she even had envisioned being in the wedding party-as in jumping out of wedding cake for Lee. I hope Caylee haunts her. I really do.

BBM - It's kind of like the Medical Boards too. Rarely do physicians get held accountable for their behavior, actions or inactions unless it is so egregious that there is public outcry and media attention that forces their hand. Apparantly, the State Bar of Florida doesn't really mind the fact that JB is so inadequate as an attorney and how it reflects on evey single one of them because by doing nothing they are condoning his behavior and tactics in the courtroom.

Nursing Boards, however, will yank your license in the blink of an eye. They don't play.
Does this mean Cindy has lost her nursing license???:praying::praying::praying:

Who else hopes KC DOESN'T show up for her next probation check-in? :behindbar

Would we even know or would the PO cover up for her? For all we know she could be traveling to places like New Jersey with permission (ref Casey Tracker).

JMO. I am not very trusting of the probation office where FCA is concerned.
