Haleigh was on JVM while they were discussing the AA system in connection to Haylee Donathan. At least, she made national television again for a few seconds.

That's good to know. At she Hayleigh got a few seconds, which is more than so many other missing kids.

Bumping off your post, and I agree with you. There seems to be nothing to report, because LE is not giving out information, so what does the media do about it? Make up something? They may not have anything to report, no searches being done, no new leads, so it's a waste of time and money to come on the media and say nothing.
I get as frustrated as anyone else, having to listen to 30 minutes of Jon and Kate plus 8, or Lindsey Lohan or Brangelina.. but believe it or not, there are many people who don't follow these missing and murdered children cases. They just want to hear the regular news, what's happening in the Hollywood set, and what the President said today. The media has a responsibility to please ALL the public, not just the few who care more about these kids than the stars in H'wood and what is going on politically. A lot of other folks out there would be furious if this was the only thing these news outlets covered. We have to remember... we are just a small group of folks, not the entire country. I don't like it either... but I can't change it.

Sadly, there hasn't been very many sightings of Haleigh since her disappearance. The few that were reported were proven to be not her. I think it is really telling that no one claims to have seen her. I truly hope this does not turn into a colder case than it is right now.:(

I don't think it could hurt to bring in all the family members (both sides) including cousins and the new stepmother's family as well for a new round of lie detector testing, with new people conducting the testing and maybe even a new machine and new questions. This case has gone cold, you never know, someone just may spill the beans and this child found. We all have been waiting for someone to come forward with information, well, maybe LE or better yet, FBI needs to try a different angle. Could shake the right person up.

You're right...someone close to or within the family, knows something or has overheard something. LE should use whatever tricks they have up their sleeves to find this child.

However, if it is a stranger abduction by a RSO...no one would have any information unless they are aware of the actual abduction or of the person who could have abducted her.

sometimes the less said the better. Why Don't You all go over and ask Misty what happened. Seems she is the link. Instead of blaming LE on not saying anything blame Misty for not telling the whole truth

And no offense to Michael Jackson, but we're not going to hear anything about missing children for weeks, unfortunately. It's all I'm seeing on JVM and NG. Maybe Monday will be back to business.

Also - are Misty and Ron still together...is she pregnant?

I don't think she knows anything more than she is telling them. She is trying her best to help, but when she started giving opinions instead of fact it became convoluted. She hit a place where she didn't know what to do and she became embroiled in her inconsistencies (as LE put it). I honestly do not think she knows anything more than she told them when she woke up. I won't say Misty is a Rocket Scientist, but then again I will not say she is less than I was at her age with no life experience.

Odd you should bring up Michael Jackson...it didn't dawn on me until I was watching his reflections that I realized he even touched Caylee's life and death. The song that is played for her with her photos, "Gone too soon" is one of his songs. I guess I had forgotten it was his song or I never knew.

I have heard nothing to say they are apart so I am guessing they are together today. Also...as far as I know...she is not pregnant which means nothing since I do not know them personally.

I wonder if it would be worthwhile to photoshop Haleigh's picture with different hair; shorter, darker etc...

Aaaahhhhh!!!! I can't believe there's NOTHING. I think of Hayleigh every, single day. Where is she???? This case has also caused so much back and forth bickering... it's crazy. I can't believe she's gone without a clue. It seems like only a few have not forgotten about her, including all you wonderful WSers, no matter what "side" you're on. I don't understand. :(

I couldn't have said it better myself. I check back daily...and every day nothing! When I do see activity on one of the topics...I think Yay...maybe they found something! Wrong...it's a just a few bickering back and forth about R vs. C. :(

i don't see where it would hurt anything or anyone, beside, IF she is still alive i am almost sure whoever has her would have altered her appearence. I think it would also maybe be a good thing to post (not sure if you can or not, might want to ask the mod's on that one) it, as it can drasticly change the facial features. If you aren't able to post them could you maybe PM them to me?

Apparently one means of Keeping Haleigh in the Public Eye has closed. The Find Haleigh Now website set up by Ron's attorney appears to have been shut down. In addition to press releases and contact info, this site had some really cute pix of Haleigh on it. The site had decent traffic on it the last time I checked which wasn't long ago.

In the last press release explaining that the firm was ending it's representation of Ron, the attorney specifically mentioned that site would be kept up, but not updated. If the site has been moved, could someone please post the new link ?
