Keisuke was allegedly abducted by his mother, Reiko Greenberg-Collins, on June 16, 2008. An FBI Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant was issued for Reiko on September 15, 2008. They are believed to be in Japan.
On June 13, two days before Keisuke last saw his father, the court ordered Reiko to surrender her son's Japanese and American passports, as neither of his parents were allowed to take him out of Orange County. However, on June 16, Reiko took Keisuke and her daughter from a previous marriage and flew to Japan.
Reiko has a scar under her left eye.
