Never had a doubt -- this idiot was going down hard.

State of CO had an airtight case, presented perfectly.

I just stood next to Sheila Frazee’s driver window and asked for a comment. She stared straight ahead and drove off. No visible emotion. @csgazette

I just have to comment on this one more time.
Just this alone shows us into her thinking and emotional feelings.
Yes her psyche is standing out loud and clear.
Her decisions are standing out loud and clear.
Who she support stands out loud and clear.
We know this because she won't stand.
She's probably scared to stand up.
She's afraid she'll be cuffed!

Great job, Lance! He should be getting some gift cards, too. This was a great move.

Empty shell of a man.

I was a few feet from #PatrickFrazee in hallway as he was led out of court. Zero emotion that I could identify — same as during trial and sentencing. #KelseyBerreth @csgazette

Probably needs a shower, and a stiff drink.

His lead attorney, Adam Steigerwald, cut me off with “no comment” as I approached. “I appreciate you, though,” he said. @csgazette #PatrickFrazee #KelseyBerreth

JUSTICE FOR KELSEY! OMG, phew. The jury came through!

I am still shocked the jury came back so fast; although, I thought they would. Juries are unpredictable though.

Still catching up. Congratulations to this Prosecutor's team. I have no idea h0w it could have came out different.

Patrick Frazee guilty on all counts, sentenced to life in prison
A jury has found Patrick Frazee guilty of all 6 counts for the November 2018 death of Kelsey Berreth. The judge went forward with sentencing right after the verdict was read. Frazee was sentenced to the maximum of life in prison without the possibility of parole plus 156 years, plus 5 years with parole for solicitation. He was put in handcuffs and escorted out of the courtroom.

  • first degree murder (after deliberation)
  • solicitation to commit first-degree murder
  • first degree murder felony
  • solicitation
  • solicitation
  • tampering with a deceased human body
[...]

Jury deliberations went for just over three and a half hours. Prior to the reading of the verdict, Patrick Frazee looked like he could cry, according to Sam Kraemer.

Prior to the reading of the verdict, the Berreth family was crying and holding each other. The verdict was read, revealing the six guilty counts.

[...]

“The courtroom is where the truth... comes to light. Ladies and gentlemen, the evidence compels you to one verdict and one verdict only. That is he is guilty of first-degree murder after deliberation. He is guilty of soliciting Krystal Kenney. And he is guilty of tampering with a human deceased body.”

That's strange. I always thought they were paroled after prison and the sentence would be life without the chance of parole.

Imo

He was given 5 years probation for the solicitation charges on top of the prison time. He won't actually get probation because of the life+156 years in prison.
