GILLETTE, Wyo. — A woman last seen in mid-April has been reported as a missing person and local authorities are requesting public assistance in locating her, according to the City of Gillette.

Kelsey Johnson, 32, was last seen on April 14 by a friend at a mobile home park in Gillette. She last spoke to her mother on March 30 and was reported missing on May 6.

Anyone who sees her or who has information on where she could be located is asked to contact the Gillette Police Department at (307) 682-5155.

Perhaps it was reported wrong and what really happened is Cheyenne law enforcement had contact with Johnson. Would be interesting to know what the purpose of the contact was.

Cheyenne would be en-route from Gillette to Denver.

Officers had Kelsey's phone pinged which turned up no information. The investigation located video surveillance at the Rainbow Motel positively identified Kelsey at the motel. There has been no physical proof of life since.
