On April 10, Wein's vehicle was illegally parked on Ocean Avenue in South Kingstown and was towed, according to officials.

It's odd that his car was found and towed away on April 10, but he wasn't reporting as missing until April 18. There is no mention of the car being inspected/processed for clues.

As his car was found illegally parked amd hence towed, one could question whether he left it there, or someone else did. Was the car functional ? Did he leave any belongings in it?

The South Kingstown Police Department is asking Ocean Road residents who may have surveillance or doorbell video footage relevant to the case to contact the department.

South Kingston RI is in the southernmost part of the state. It's about 80 miles from Boston where Eric was last seen. IMO it's not somewhere you would just happen to pass through. I wonder if he went to South Kingston for a specific reason, or his car was just dumped there.
