Has anyone else seen three radically different photos for this young man? I am perplexed. I'm going with the photo the police put out.

It's very concerning that all of his personal belongings were left behind.
Sawyer Creek is described as a 'primitive camping area', with no formal facilities. You have to hike in about 5 miles from where you park.

Here is a link to a good page describing the camping area and photos of the area:

It is hunting season, but no hunting is allowed after dark and that is when Kenley disappeared, so it isn't likely a hunting accident.

You're not wrong. He looks different in most photos. Changed a lot in appearance this year. He buzzed his hair off at the start of this summer so that pic is floating around too. I'd say the most accurate is the photo of him standing in the kitchen.

The initial article said he was camping with a friend when he left the campsite at 10 pm, leaving his belongings behind. I'm wondering if it was just a "nature call" and he expected to return in a few minutes, but got disoriented. At that age, camping, I wouldn't rule out a little recreational alcohol or marijuana use, not at all uncommon at that age but also more likely to result in a physical mishap in the dark.
