Mission Statement

Kid Finders Network, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization that aids Law Enforcement Officials, Families and other Organizations in need of our services. Whether it's abduction prevention education or searching for Missing Children.

We try to educate children about the dangers of abduction and provide the parents with the tools they need in the event their child goes missing. We do this by using State of the Art Digital Fingerprinting and Child Identificaiton cards.

We use mobile billboards to display the faces and information of missing children (abducted, lost or runaways) giving them and their families a chance for a safe return. We try to locate all the children we can and believe that race, religion or financial ability should not be a factor in the assistance of locating a missing child.

We focus on covering the United States by using the visual aid of our modern mobile billboards in the safe recovery of children.

Howdy and you live in very nice terrain.. I also hail loosely from Glenwood Springs. FWIW, I-70 is pretty creepy as well. And I won't even get into that route from SLC to San Diego. You ever watch the "Hitcher"?

Hubby is FROM Glenwood Springs! Small world isn't it? I lived south of there, Paonia/Hotchkiss area for years...much easier winters down there too.

No, never watched the Hitcher...but have done 1-70 more times than I want to remember...construction cones, I swear the same ones, have been there for 20+ years!

OK, I am straying off topic...as I do often!

I am glad Kidfinders is getting some microscope attention right now...too many creepy types out there exploiting people that are vunerable...

I get way too many calls soliciting charities that scam the name of legit ones...just change it ever so slightly...I always tell them to Mail me something...

I either never hear from them again or get some flier....next time I am using the title of this thread and will ask them to MAIL me the names of kids they helped to find!

Ha! I've finally figured out why I was (at some point in time) searching for Mallory using the Milstead's last name! The Milstead's do in fact seem to have a daughter named Mallori! (She is listed on publicly available documents regarding a lawsuit of some sort...)

Appears to be the KF logo. DM has it on his shirt but appears to be printed on. See pic 15 for a photo of them both wearing it.

I cant even imagine it SuziQ... it literally makes me cringe at the thought!

With all the theories we have thrown around with JK, one was someone who appeared to be LE...

I had the exact same thought. Waaaay too close to some of the speculations about how someone got JK to leave her apartment. I shuddered when I imagined DM attaching himself to Jennifer's case. I wonder if it bothered her family when they found out about his little "escapade."

ETA: I wasn't suggesting that DM was involved with Jennifer's disappearance. Just that it creeped me out for him to have pretended to be LE and followed a woman into her apartment complex when that was one of the theories tossed out about how how Jennifer might have been abducted.

I don't know, can't make it out. That woman hides it in the last three photos with her fist.

All I can say is this foundation has not found one single child. So, IMO they are vultures who prey on the vulnerable.



Man Who Runs Kid Finders Gets Physical During Interview

ORLANDO, Fla. -- He's been arrested twice, once for assault and once for impersonating a police officer, and he's the man Caylee Anthony's grandparents are trusting to help find their granddaughter.

Dennis Milstead runs the so-called Kid Finders Network, but Eyewitness News uncovered serious problems with his criminal past and his not-for profit group, including the fact Kid Finders has never found anybody.

Still, the organization is out every day, collecting donations using jars with Caylee's picture on them. Even the Palm Beach County sheriff's sergeant who helps run their Crime Stoppers operation says Orange County deputies have been warned about Milstead.

I wonder after this hits the A's, will they distance themselves from this !

His questionable past, his judgement of $500,000 and what he does with the money collected.

I also wonder if a convicted felon can run a foundation for finding missing children. Seems he preys on families, seems to be families who's children are already deceased, milking the donations. I would not even let this look for my missing dog, let alone a child...hoping he is shut down. :behindbar

Milstead's Kid Finders Network mentions its intentions to raise funds a number of times, mainly so it says it can build more billboards to report on missing children. Its list of accomplishments does not include finding any missing children.

Funny story. I was telling hubby one of the tidbits that I share with him each day about the case, this or that that happens that is INSANE and after todays "update" he said, This is better than a soap opera. He said that it was crazier than when Marlena from Days of Our Lives was demon possessed (I watched it in my younger years). That is what this whole mess puts you in the mind of.

Its beyond isn't it? Like it is unreal all the craziness that has come out of this mess. All because KC can't speak an ounce of truth.

Why would the A's allow themselves to become involved with a bogus organization as this...Hmmmm.... an organization that no interest in actually Finding missing children.
Do we think the A's actually want any one finding Caylee?...I don't think so, based on their most recent behaviors.

I wonder if Tim's 12500.oo check from NLH bounced.

What I can't help but wonder is if KFN came up in any of the searches Casey did on her computer and whether there was possibly contact between any A family member and that organization before Caylee went missing. G is an ex LE, Cindy seems at least a bit street smart, and they've gotta know there is something a bit off about this group.
