I just replied to the e-mail from Never Lose Hope and I cut and pasted the rules for Florida raffles, told them it is up to them to advise me of when and where the raffle will take place, not the Exotic Cars. I'll let y'all know what I hear.

To update:
Now, the e-mails just bounce back as undeliverable. So I guess after they got my first message and replied to me, they pulled the plug. I sent a reply last night and that bounced back. So today I just sent a new message to the same address I connected with yesterday and it bounced immediately.

I sincerely hope that this person is very, very careful who she responds to. Or, this e-mail could be a hoax, either to send a virus or to find out who is inquiring about KF. Either way, everyone needs to be careful. If this person has info, they need to get with LE or the State Attorney General's office, MOO.

Good point! I didn't post her e-mail addy on here, but yes, it's definitely out in the open via the news link.

Wow . . . maybe they're finally feeling their toes getting stepped on!

I would keep those emails. This whole thing is looking more and more like a sham. I just wish that there was somebody that was collecting all of this information in one place, documenting it all so it could be sent as a package to one person who has the background and the resources to break this wide open.
The 'Meet and Greet' at JBP is just the latest thing to happen with them.

LE has been contacted, so people keep saying, but this KF group is still out there. I do not understand.

Ran the dollar amounts on the raffle

On the website it says that the tickets were $25.00 each but a poster earlier said she paid $10.00

So if we are to assume that the info they gave us was correct and they sold at least 7,518 tickets then it would break down like this:

7,518 x $25.00=$187,950

7,518 x $20.00=$150,360

7,518 x $10.00=$75,180

Pretty hefty hunk of change---wonder where it is??

My ticket is $10 but that is for the Dodge 2008 Black Challenger SRT8, supposedly to be drawn 12/15/08. The other cars were more expensive and probably had $25 price on them.

This keeps getting worse and worse ..

“At Saturday's function, the Anthonys were helping Kid Finders gather a list of volunteers they can contact at a later date and determine how those volunteers can help in the search for Caylee, who the Anthonys maintain is still alive.
In an interview, Cindy stressed that the effort requires more donations so that Kid Finders can keep up the search.”

BS....... they want a list of people to beef up the list to solicit for money. Search my a$$. They must be feeling very confident that no one can interfere with there money making program. Why is it always “contact at a later date.” What effort requires more donations. It’s all about the money now and has been since about 2 weeks into this. I don’t think Cindy gives a darn about Caylee anymore. This is making me feel ill.

When we were in Orlando, one of my team members stopped in there to see if they were searching. They told him they would contact him so he left his number just to see if they were really searching. He is very experienced in missing persons and they have yet to contact him. They are not going to "CONTACT" anyone. They are not searching.

I hope everyone who bought raffle tickets should save them and contact the Attorney General of Florida. Looks like they rented the car to entice people to buy tickets. Please let me know if there really was or winner of was the winner invisible like the Nanny?

In Florida, the proper agency to file complaints regarding charitable organizations is not the Attorney General, but the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services--also known as AG Law.

Here's the link for filing complaints online:

Hope that helps!

It is nice to the unbridled optimism you have and I have seen it before. However, hailed isn't exactly the word I would use. :bang:

My enthusiasm comes from past experience because I have learned that "the wheel that squeaks the loudest gets the grease", and although it may take time, when people keep inquiring, the ball does not get dropped.

I have made copies of all the information found so far and do plan to sent this to more than one authority. I just spoke with a good investigative reporter who I trust, and am copying them to send to him in the morning.

I do believe this needed thoroughly investigated, and with just what ones here have found, I feel it is enough for the feds. State agencies notoriously don't do much, but once the feds get involved everyone gets going.

 Big kudos to everyone posting on this thread -- you guys have really gathered some great information! I truly hope LE is looking into this.

So it sounds like KFN is interested in really getting together a possible "people who may donate later" list versus a bonafide "search volunteer" list. How disgusting...

Anyone who preys on families of missing people; or who collaborates with them for their own financial gain is the lowest of the low in my book.

I hope KFN and EVERYONE associated with them gets taken down quickly.

Well, it sounds like they don't do much of anything, but sell billboards, take donations and get loved ones hopes up. It is said, but it is always about money. When in this case it should be about Caylee.

You're right. So sorry, I'm just so tired today and I should have known better.
Thanks! :blowkiss:

No problem--I know that feeling! :blowkiss:

In most states, you would report to the Attorney General, but as usual, Florida has a different reporting entity.

It's important that any concerns are directed to the agency with the power to make things happen, and that is AGLaw.

I concur. But, it is the AG office that will most likely be able to ask faster. It is possible that LE has already contacted the Fla AG, but if the AG receives multiple complaints from the public, they are more likely to act quicker. The squeaky wheel and all that.

Here are the two ways to contact AG in Fla:
http://myfloridalegal.com/pages.nsf/4492d797dc0bd92f85256cb80055fb97/030e31f06ef0184d85256cc600706904 File a complaint,
http://www.myflorida.com/agency/2/

or, as OcalaMom suggested earlier, "In Florida, the proper agency to file complaints regarding charitable organizations is not the Attorney General, but the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services--also known as AG Law.

Here's the link for filing complaints online:" [Sorry, Newbie may have not followed correct protocol for quoting, but wanted to give OcalaMom credit since I didn't know that]

http://app1.800helpfla.com/cswebcomp...Complaint.aspx

I can tell you from experience that government agencies - from congressional to regulatory and all in-between - weights each contact from the public as coming from many. Too many people are too timid, don't take the time, or don't care to write. But the more who voice their concerns, the more likely to get a resolution.

I'm writing - just as a private individual (keeping WS out of it). Adding my voice.

Tick Tock

Interesting that there didn't seem to be many people at the Meet & Greet.
At least not that I saw on news videos. No wonder they're geting desperate for donations.

Amazing amount of work!!!!!! Please keep us informed. This sure is an education. Makes one wonder where the media is when the public is being scammed. Don't the TV stations and news papers have investigative people. Oh! sorry they majored in PR for the crooks.
Wake up America! Picking on TM or LP, the two who are searching, and the others only blowing BS. No wonder Tim got out of Orlando. He's better off where he is needed.

Would somebody post the link to the KF's blog again ... the one that's representing Kaylee. Thanks

Thank you OcalaMom. I didn't know that (I'm not in Fla). Anyone contacting the AG office, wouldn't the AG office then forward to the proper agency? Or at least tell the inquiring consumer where to direct their concerns? Hope so.
