Yes, I just read that story. Creepy!!

"I noticed that his car said video surveillance, and then when he pulled me over with the flashing lights, I had a bad feeling it was not a policeman and I called 911," Kristi Posvar said in a telephone interview. "But it still shook me up, and he followed me into my gated community and really, you know, it was frightening."

He says "willing". Funny how there are 2 empty seats on their Board of Directors! Now, would'nt a board member get paid? The Milsteads get paid as Pres and Vice Pres. Media relations was filled by M Bart. Now open are event coordinator and volunteer coordinator. Nice postions for the Anthony's, wouldnt you say?

update: Last week I posted about sending KF an email about the raffle requesting it to be confirmed there was a car raffle and, if so, to be informed of the date, place of and winner of the raffle --I gave them until today to respond to my email and they have yet to do so. Although I know that others have tipped the responsible agencies I'm going to file my own complaint.

A spokeswoman for Kid Finders has taken issue with recent reports that they have not actually found a missing child. She said they do things to raise awareness like print up fliers and T-shirts and billboards. She said that it is very possible that their efforts have helped find missing children.

OMG! What an incredibly STOOPID spokesperson.... she's disputing the claim BUT admitting it's true?

Boy, ya know I have a question. On the KF form 990 for 2007, I was reading the WalMart receipt at the end. They're claiming $1213 for volunteer food.(What, do they have to attach only one receipt?)
Anyway, looking over the receipt, there appear charges for shampoo, conditioner, haircolor, toddler peaches, etc. And nothing on the list is in quantity---such as, there's one bottle of water, one bottle of water, one coke, and so forth.
Honestly, this looks like a regular weekly grocery list. Hmmm. I was thinking that maybe there were just ingredients for soup or something but, golly, a little bunch of bananas, a cube steak..........

So my question is, if the receipt includes other things, don't they have to circle the things that were specifically for KF?

Does the IRS actually read any of these things??? Sheesh. Oh, btw, they state the officers/directors do not collect compensation.
