KidFinders & Kathi B. Interview -GA New Spokesman #3

I would hope the A's are not truly THAT dumb as to "take over as the owners" or, more likely, Registered Agents of that group.

However, I've seen that type of transaction in the past. Takes some of the heat off the shady folks while they slither their way out of trouble. What bothers me is, why would GA even make this statement? Why now? Unless someone (can you think of a couple?) has planted the idea in his head?

Still, I hope the A's run far, far away. They would be so much better off if they would disavow this organization and say they were suckered in.

MOO

I can see Cindy with the moeny jars now. A penny for KFN, a dollar for me. moo

OMG! What an incredibly STOOPID spokesperson.... she's disputing the claim BUT admitting it's true?
IIs that why there are no posters of a missing Caylee to be seen in Orlando?

Sounds like they are related to Baez, Same convoluted logic as "she didn't do it, but if she did it...."

I wonder what time of day that interview took place?! LOL She looked like she was "sleeping one off" or something. Wow! Not a good day for a camera crew to show up at the "spread". Couldn't she have simply not answered the door?!

Dare I say, she appeared seriously impaired? The parents have a glazed look but at least they are able to stand straight without teetering back and forth.

Yes, I just read that story. Creepy!!

"I noticed that his car said video surveillance, and then when he pulled me over with the flashing lights, I had a bad feeling it was not a policeman and I called 911," Kristi Posvar said in a telephone interview. "But it still shook me up, and he followed me into my gated community and really, you know, it was frightening."

Did I miss hearing that the M's can't make their house payment?
They were foreclosed on in Palm Beach. It was in the last thread on KfN.
Sorry , I don't know how to link from other threads.

Me too. I've got one of their chances on a Challenger supposedly to be given away on 12/15/08 but I can't seem to find out anything about where the drawing will be held.
maybe it will be a "live" drawing on the website like the other one claimed to be.

Boy, ya know I have a question. On the KF form 990 for 2007, I was reading the WalMart receipt at the end. They're claiming $1213 for volunteer food.(What, do they have to attach only one receipt?)
Anyway, looking over the receipt, there appear charges for shampoo, conditioner, haircolor, toddler peaches, etc. And nothing on the list is in quantity---such as, there's one bottle of water, one bottle of water, one coke, and so forth.
Honestly, this looks like a regular weekly grocery list. Hmmm. I was thinking that maybe there were just ingredients for soup or something but, golly, a little bunch of bananas, a cube steak..........

So my question is, if the receipt includes other things, don't they have to circle the things that were specifically for KF?

Does the IRS actually read any of these things??? Sheesh. Oh, btw, they state the officers/directors do not collect compensation.

If the officers/directors don't get paid, how are they living?

If the officers/directors don't get paid, how are they living?

Most small 501(c)(3)'s do not have any paid officers/directors. Many do not have any paid employees -- all volunteer. I've been involved with several (for local water quality issues, mainly) that are all volunteer. And they account for their donations/expenses more carefully (more detail) on their Forms 990 than I've seen KFN do.

While there is definitely some suspect financial "arrangements" with the M's other "businesses" and other faux "non-profits," the fact that KFN has no paid officers/directors raises no red flags for me.

Hope this helps.

No, but when everyone started spouting about going into the missing kid biz I thought they were looking for a way to recreate themselves. "Oh gee, honey! Let's do this. We have experience". (NOT)

I just can't believe that missing kids are a "biz".

Not sure KFN will be around much longer with all the present investigations into the orgainization and it's infamous leader

On their own, the A's have enough NOT going for them without getting involved with this smarmy group. Is GA still working his security job, or did he lose that one too?

Wow. Thats like letting the inmate run the asylum.

Does GA get a salary for that?

He could, guess it would all depend on how the bylaws were written.

I find it so interesting that the Anthony's cannot get a reputable missing child agency to back them (Walsh, Klaus).

There's a new act in the circus!
