Composite sketch released, $50K reward extended in unsolved 2016 Liberty Village murder
"It’s been almost three years since a 26-year-old father of four was murdered after leaving a family birthday party in Liberty Village and Toronto police have released a composite sketch of the man believed to be responsible for his death.

Around 4 a.m. on September 11, 2016, Kiesingar Gunn, his fiancée and his friends were outside Forty2 Supper Club.

After the party let out and as they were driving away, the group noticed someone they knew involved in a fight.

As Gunn and the friend got out of their car and approached the group, several shots were fired and one struck Gunn in the head.

Bystanders performed first aid until paramedics arrived and took him to hospital, but he died."

Murder victim’s mom ‘in shock’ after cops put out sketch of killer
"On the day of the murder, Gunn was at a birthday celebration with his fiancee — and mother of his young children — at the Forty2 Supperclub, near Liberty St. and Mowat Ave.

After leaving, Gunn saw a friend who was in a fight. Gunn was shot when he hopped out of his car to help."

“The suspect fled the scene on foot (after the shooting) and got in a motor vehicle that was parked on Mowat Ave., and that vehicle proceeded northbound towards Liberty Village and that was the last time the suspect was seen,” said Det. Leslie Dunkley."

Heartbroken mom pleads for help solving son’s 2016 murder in Liberty Village
''It has been several years since innocent bystander Kiesingar Gunn was killed by a stray bullet while rushing to help a friend when a fight erupted out front of a Liberty Village nightclub.

But his heartbroken mother, who is once again pleading for help finding the killer as she prepares to mark what would have been her son’s 30th birthday on Saturday, still vividly remembers wiping blood from her first-born’s face as he lay dying in hospital.

“It was extremely traumatizing,” Evelyn Fox said in a video posted on YouTube this week by Pickup Communications, recalling the day she raced to the hospital after learning her son had been shot.''

“This person shattered my entire family and obviously feels no remorse whatsoever,” said Fox, who suffers from PTSD. “(And) the thought of him being still on the street with the capability to do something like this to someone else’s family, I can’t live with that.”

Investigators have said they believe the gunman was inside the club prior to the shooting and that there are witnesses who know his identity but have yet to come forward.''

Police extend $50K reward in Liberty Village shooting that left father of four dead
''The Toronto Police Service has extended a $50,000 reward on the four-year anniversary of a shooting in the city’s Liberty Village neighbourhood that left a 26-year-old father of four dead.

In the early morning hours of Sept. 11, 2016, Kiesingar Gunn was leaving a nightclub in the area of Mowat Avenue and Liberty Street when he was struck by gunfire.

At the time, police said, Gunn stepped into a verbal and physical altercation between a group of males as he recognized one of them as being a friend. He was then hit by a bullet and rushed to hospital in serious condition. Later that day, the married father of four was pronounced dead.

Investigators have repeatedly said Gunn was not the intended target of the shooting.''

''The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects in this murder was initially announced by police on the two-year anniversary of the shooting. It was renewed for the first time a year later and was set to expire on Thursday. It will now continue to be offered until Sept. 11, 2021''

''Cops have never believed that Kiesingar Gunn, 26, was targeted for death. On Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, around 4:04 a.m., cops were called to a shooting at Liberty St. and Mowart Ave.

Gunn was in the area after a night out with pals and was struck by stray bullets. He later died in hospital.

He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Detectives have released a security video of the horrific crime along with a description of the killer.''
