Kim Jong Un in grave condition after surgery, North Korea, Apr 2020

Isn't it crazy that that whole factory visit could be totally made up by the state press (and let's not rule it out!) and not one civilian is able to get past censorship to let the world know. Mind-blowing really!

Good catch.

I pulled up several old photos of him. That mole on the left of his nose is always there. Same with the teeth inconsistency. I blew these photos you posted way up. To me, the one on the left (new one) looks photoshopped....skin is way too smooth and added color.

Sorry, I didn't attach my pngs.
Kim Jong-Un's upper left incisor is a little bit longer than the right, and he doesn't have a gap between his upper teeth.

Something else to consider... How do we know that the "real" pictures of him we've posted aren't also body doubles? If you're going to go to the trouble of manufacturing a believable double, why stop at one?

Things are so kooky in NK, maybe the "real" KJU disappeared last month/last year/years ago.

Will the real fat shady please stand up! LOL IMO

There's a little more information at the BBC News link now:

"Kim Jong-un has appeared in public for the first time in 20 days, North Korean state media says.

KCNA news agency reports that the North Korean leader cut the ribbon at the opening of a fertiliser factory.

(snipped; also BBM)
--
First, as a long-time Asia watcher, may I gently suggest that the "fertilizer" may not quite be of the variety known by many Westerners... (Thinking more along the lines of the, well, uh, radioactive type. ;))

(Had this first thought earlier this evening while outside doing yard work; while working in the soil was pondering types of... fertilizer common to certain parts of the world, and to certain countries in particular...)

Second, as many here have already hypothesized, it is, one would think (and for such an Asian country in a "unique" position in the world), highly likely that the dear leader's doppelgänger(s) has/have been kept busy studying and practicing the leader's every movement -- especially since the last (April 11th or 12th) public appearance of said leader.

Kim Jong-un Is Back. What Happens When He’s Really Gone?

Weeks of speculation about Mr. Kim’s health brought home an alarming fact: No one knows who will control North Korea, or its nuclear weapons, should he die.

All the more "interesting" that he/his doppelgänger should make a return appearance at a...fertilizer plant... Not *exactly* the type of fertilizer most Westerners would use to improve their veggies...

One highly interesting aspect of Asian culture is that of making a "statement", yet...without using words (Asians are culturally skilled at "connecting the dots", and especially so, on topics peculiar to their specific country's national interests...).

In the matter at hand, the world is treated to a view of someone who *looks like* (<-- operative phrase) the leader; the location for this first "return appearance" is none other than a...fertilizer plant...

"Ding, ding, ding!" We here in the West have received the "message" (the one sent without words ).

Check out the teeth and the spot on the nose, and the bad attempt at mimicking the hairline.

Fertilizer factory ribbon-cutting KJU on left, Real KJU on right.

Am I in the unidentified forum? ;)

Yup, those teeth in addition to the ears - two different people.

So you're saying this is a load of carp? Jmo. I'm now feeling the same. Will the real Kim Jung Un step forward?

Exactly, @CSIDreamer! (and -- btw -- carp work just *great* as "fertilizer", too...LOL! Not so sure that you were intending to write c-a-r-p, but hey, it definitely "fits" the "fertilizer" discussion, right? :-))

Rodman played basketball with him when he visited. He would certainly be able to recognize a doppelgänger attempting to dribble and shoot hoops.

Dennis Rodman, please go visit your friend and be sure to get him on the court.

Did Trump meet the real Kim Jung Un or an imposter? :D

Can you imagine the headlines if that happened? If we think some are strange now, that would take it to a new realm.

Will we ever find out the real truth?....don’t think so.

MOO

Thank you...having WiFi issues could not keep writing what I saw

Here is a good pic of them, and the controversial tweet from Rodman.
Again, note the upper left incisor length and nose blemish.

Pretty sure this is the real Kim Shady.
