Kindergartener AvaLynn's Eyes Blackened at School, Mother Gets Runaround

We all understand that a 5-year-old can't be held criminally liable. But he/she can certainly be removed from the school and placed in an alternative educational setting. Why should this injured baby be the one who must be moved? The responsible party is the one who should be dealt with, not the victim. A child with this propensity for violence will almost surely do it again. All those at the school who are in CYA mode should be ashamed of themselves. And as for the "fund-raising", give me a break! How many of us on here could afford to go for a period of time without pay and pay the additional medical bills that this awful event has generated?

I cannot understand how no teacher saw this little girl get abused so badly. No one heard her screams? Where were the adults that were supposed to be supervising? I would remove my child from this school. It is obviously not safe there.
