Kingston Police request public assistance to identify suspect after serious assault with a weapon

Kingston, Ontario - According to police, the incident took place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., when a 49-year-old woman who was visiting Kingston was walking with a friend near the area of Kingston Secondary School closest to Kirkpatrick Street and Kingscourt Avenue.

The victim received a minor injury.

I'm hoping the Kingston Police have spoken with this man, who back in May assaulted someone with a hammer at 2 a.m. after asking them for directions.
