I believe she is a veterinary nurse.

Veterinary Surgeon, not a Vet Nurse. She’s still missing but no new information seems to be coming out.

Her fb profile

Photos of her, her car and her vet degree all on her page.

Vets tend to drive a lot especially whilst taking care of larger animals - during peculiar hours as well. Just hoping she didn’t have any car accident.

The weather conditions didn’t look very alarming last Friday:

Praying she’ll be located safe.

Lots of very wet weather last week but drier over the weekend.

I use the vet practice she links to on fb, but I use the equine vets and she lists herself as small animal, so far less driving involved.

However, I can’t see her listed as working for ANY of the branches of that Vet Practice; I had thought it odd that they hadn’t shared anything about her but perhaps she didn’t work for them at all?

Oh no! From Scottish Borders Police Facebook:

Around 11.30am on Monday, 21 November, police discovered the body of a woman in the Melrose area. Formal identification has still to take place. However, it's believed to be 29-year-old Kirsty Miller, missing from Newtown St Boswells since Friday 19 November, 2022. Her family has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

I just read it on a newspaper online :( Horrible news. Do we know the cause of death? The newspaper did not have any details yet.

No, nothing yet. Guessing post mortem might be tomorrow?

I have to say my first thought was that she might have been pulled from the River Tweed, which runs through Melrose. Sadly this is quite a common occurrence, I can think of several others from just the last couple of years. This one I think most recent, though I’m not sure if COD was ever ascertained Police identify woman found dead in River Tweed at Melrose
