We need your help with food donations for the search happening this weekend, Oct 4th and 5th, for Sarah and Jacob Hoggle

The search center is the Germantown Community Center located at 18905 Kingsview road
Germantown Maryland

Registrations start at 9 am – 4:00 pm. Sat and Sunday

We need to provide lunch and water for the searchers for Saturday and Sunday.

If you would like to participate I would appreciate it if you could look up restaurants who deliver in the area and post their contact information on this thread.

I'm thinking Pizza and Subway Sandwiches will be the way to go.

The rough estimate as far as how many searches will be showing up is, for both days, 400 people. Now, that could be right on or it could be way off. Could be a lot more, could be a lot less.

If you would like go ahead and order food for delivery tomorrow please post on this thread how much you have ordered. That way we can keep track
of the food coming in for Saturday. Tomorrow we can deal with Sunday's food.

If you have questions please post them here.

I have to leave for several hours but I will be back as soon as I can to answer questions and to help.

PS. If you purchase food you can use it as a tax donation since KlaasKids is a 501C3 charity. If the restaurant can send you a receipt that would be the way to go if you want to use it on your taxes

Unfortunately, I can't make it to the search, but I can donate food and water. Since I haven't been in that area in years, I looked up some Subway restaurants and pizza places on Google.

There is a Subway .4 of a mile from the search center. The address is 13411 Kingsview Village Drive, Germantown, MD. 301-515-8815.

The Milano's Pizza and Pasta has a catering menu with a large variety of pasta, salads, etc. for larger numbers ranging from 10-20 people for approximately $50-$100 respectively. The pasta comes with garlic bread also. Just a thought.

Daddy's Smoke House also has a party menu.

I called the number listed on all the sites which is 301-515-8890 but the person who answered said it is not a Subway and gave me the number for the Subway. He said the number is 301-515-8815. However,
when I call that number it only rings 4 times then a generic voice mail message. So I don't know if we can use this Subway unless we can find out a way to contact them that works.

All4Justice I changed the number in your first post so the guy wouldn't get a bunch of calls asking for Subway.

If someone who is local knows of a place that might deliver breakfast items for the workers who are there early registering the searchers that would be great.

No because it is such short notice. I have found in the past that corporate needs a letter from KlaasKids and they need X amount of advanced notice.

If we even had 5 days notice we might be able to but usually the decision to definitely search in a case happens quickly and the search takes place within 48 hours.
