Kronk Discloses More Information About Finding Caylee's Remains

One thing that we haven't heard yet - according to this article - it was the SAME BAG that he called in back in August!!!

Do you mean the same bag that he saw something "white and round ... that doesn't look like it belongs there" back on the August 12th call?

I believe the something "white and round" that he saw was the skull. He knew he found a skull and that is why he could not let this go.

"For the first time, his lawyer said on Sunday that Kronk made an additional visit to that same area three months later, on Nov. 10. But on that visit, it was all business.

"He read the meters in that area, but he did not go to the area where the body was found," attorney David Evans said."

Thought I would post this just in case anyone missed this part.

thank you maur and I am bumping this up. His last trip was just work related. Seems to me like it is just crossing another t. The presser is supposed to be tomorrow per wesh.

I believe that the PI's somehow got ahold of the meter reader's early tips. The phone calls could have been with someone who had those "tips" at hand and he was double checking descriptions of the scene as they searched. I don't believe the MR knew anything about the PI's search, and simply ended back there in December when nothing had come of his previous sightings.

This is what I believe happened also. The tips, IIRC, were in with the psychic tips in that first disk turned over to the defense. Someone on here had pinpointed the calls.

just a question along those lines... but how would the PIs get a hold of the LE tips? I wonder if they had access to the tips that came into the caylee line (the one that 911 instructed Kronk to call)??? I just, for some reason, do not think they had any access to those tips. Look at all the issues the defense team has had getting them. If it were that easy CA also wouldn't have been complaining about it all the time on video that she wanted LE to share their tips with them.

Regarding the WESH story... I don't see how this info. about the MR visiting in Nov is newsworthy at all... except where he supposedly "didn't back in" this time? I didn't know he was backing into the woods at all.

Natsound, it's a typo...

...Kronk didn't take the time to back into the woods.

It should read: ...Kronk didn't take the time to go back into the woods.

Because with his experience as a bondsman and bounty hunter he is all too aware of how bad it would look for a person once charged with kidnapping to just happen to find the body of a supposedly kidnapped kid. But after sending the PI's who couldn't even find what he was instructing them to look for he finially gave up and went out on a limb and called LE.

Bolded by me...

What am I missing about Kronk??? Who was he accused of kidnapping and why? Would anyone have a link for me to catch up on this??? I'm lost when it comes to this guy because I didn't follow that story too well it would seem.

Thank you!!!

Are we sure? Whoa... I thought the case had just taken a sharp left turn into the twilight zone....

Nat, the media articles are full of missing words and bad grammar. It's a wasteland of horrible editorialship. I think it has to do with rushed scoops and very poor or no proofreading. The OSCO docs are also full of writing errors. It's a real shame.

Kronk's picture could be worth $20 grand, is what they are saying on channel 6. It must be of the remains or they would not be willing to pay that much.
I wish I had a total of all the money people have made from the murder of Caylee. It's a crying shame.
I got a question, DC AND JH were both working for the A's as PI'S and Bodyguards. Right?

Why were they not with the A's at the kid finders meeting?

I find this a little "hinky" don't you???

We better not see a $20k pic on GMA or on any other network tomorrow. I will write to them. ( like they care:rolleyes:)

If the photo shows Caylee's remains... I will be royally pizzed. :furious: I guess maybe will find out on GMA tomorrow. I will lose even more faith in humanity. I am hoping it is just a photo of the site.

Me too, but alledgedly 20k? for a Pic of weeds and flora?? If this is true, it must contain other items in full view.

first I've heard about meter reader having a prior charge of kidnapping...when did this come out, what are the details???

I have another question I'm sure someone here can answer for me. I saw over and over again on the cable channels (Greta, NG) a photo of a box at the crime scene with what looked like brown bones stacked up, they were long brown pieces ..I just assumed they were Caylee's but now I realize they couldn't have been. They all showed this photo so many times... It was more than just dirt that they were sifting thru...what were they?

There have been a number of comments regarding the MR being paid something for his part in this case. He found Caylee, and that changes the nature of the case considerably.

Many people/companies are "making money" off this case- the Orlando tv stations (increased advertising revenue), the tabloids, People magazine, Headline News and other cable networks, private investigators, police overtime, and...perhaps websites like this one. And, Tricia, and all mods, please let me say that I am not sure how it works, but is there not some monetary value to the increased number of "hits" Websleuths gets when there is a big case? I have no problem with any of this "money-making", that's just how the world works.

So how can it be a problem if the MR gets some sort of reward or other compensation for his part in moving the case forward? It's nothing he sought, and he certainly didn't want his life to be turned upside down as it has been.

Calling any money that comes his way "blood money" is wrong-headed and cruel, IMO. He seems to me to be more entitled than anyone else who is involved. That little girl might have lain there forever had he not found her.

Yeah, that's getting old. It was one thing when we were all saying he deserved a reward but it's kind of tacky for his lawyer to almost be asking for money, IMO. Sounds like they're in hot negotiations over the upcoming interview.

ITA Chilly. It's sad, so sad IMO.
