I emailed Kim Haynes reporter for KWCH which happens to be the only News Station that was allowed to have camera's in the Court Room. I found this info out via Hutch News. I asked Kim if KWCH will post the Pre Trial on their site. Will let you know of the outcome. I hope they will, as I see that his initial Court appearance was posted .

This Hutch Article seems to be the most reliable. Updated Nov 19
Quote:

After they came home around 10:30 p.m., Longoria said he was going to a friend's house to look at pictures, and he left in her black Ford Escape wearing windpants and a T-shirt, Brown testified. She said he came back at 11:15 p.m. to change clothes - a detail Brown acknowledged she'd never told officers previously in her multiple interviews.

She said Longoria smelled of gas, changed into shorts and a tank top and left, not returning until 12:45 a.m. Under questioning from Deputy Attorney General Disney, Brown testified Longoria told her he'd been working on a friend's car, explaining why he smelled of gas.

So according to EB's NEW story he came home and then went out AGAIN?

If you look at the comments, a few Folks smell something fishy re EB!

I dont understand the timeline EB is trying to throw into this. If AL picked AD up at 11 how could he possibly be back home changing out of gas covered clothes that had to be destroyed at 11:15 ? This makes absolutly no sense. How could he pick her up, make her preform oral sex on him, kill her and cover her in gasoline (not to mention he didnt purchace the gas til much later) and be home changing in 15 minutes? If that was the case he would have been destroying the clothes he changed into not the ones he left in.

Also did the person at Loves notice blood on his clothes? The video survalence will show what he was wearing when he purchased the gasoline. Id almost bet it was windpants JMO

The last text to ADs phone just shows he was trying to cover his a**. He really thought he could get away with this. I cant imagine ED still wanting to marry him.

westsidefox you have raised a very interesting point re stains on clothes while at loves hmm

I read on a reporters tweet page that the judge made a ruling no tweets or blogs allowed in the court room. The blog was done during breaks. JMO

The reporter doing the blog, was doing so from a news van outside. There were no computers allowed in the courtroom and she could only hear and see through a live feed from there. She was blogging the whole time except when she took a few minutes to shoot a live shot for a noon news update...and a helpful blogger took her place to keep blog updated.

I was watching and listening to the live stream while taking my notes and would only catch up with the blog in-between testimonies or during breaks and lunch. The video in the courtroom never showed the family like the last time nor the witnesses--- besides the LE officials. Tammy, Tiffany, Hugo, and Eva all did not want to be on camera.

ETA: If the live stream showed the family prior to testimonies being given, then my bad, as I came in late, but I think the media would have showed clips if they did.

Eva's just a very bad liar. And I think I figured out why AL changed his mind about the common law marriage....he would be able to testify against her. When he heard her say that they were never married in the media, he thought he had lost her on his side....so he had to prepare himself to counter her. Now she doesn't know what the hay to do. She's in a very bad corner right now between what the state has (she doesn't know) and what AL has "on" her. I don't know if Eva really wants to still have a relationship with AL... I think she is hedging her bets. IF he covers for her or not....hence, her conflicting stories...and "wait and see" mentality. It's going to be interesting, because when it comes down to brass knuckles the ex-con will throw her under the bus in a NY minute.
Note too, prosecution had her testify BEFORE any of others besides the mother. After the day's testimony by everyone he called, her story was blown to H. I am just screaming inside..."SHE'S MORE INVOLVED". I think the state knows that as well and it will be interesting how they play her further. She's up a creek w/o a paddle..because she didn't think about all the evidence that could be collected. IMO Common sense says besides the murder rap, the other charges will send him back for quite a long time, considering his past....and their "relationship" will once again be one of pen pals.

Quotes in blue taken from the Hutch article : http://hutchnews.com/Publicsafety/Longoria-prelim--2#

Some thoughts on the Hutch article...and yes, it was very informative, but not w/o a blooper. The time AD's phone stop pinging. It was 11:40 pm vs their reporting of 1:40 am. That's a 2 hour difference!!!

Tamara Conrad, DeBolt's mother, testified her daughter told her Aug. 21 she was going to a party on the city's southeast side and would return in an hour, before a midnight curfew

What happen to the party at Camp Aldrich....up north of GB? This testimony sounds like the "little Mexico" area of GB.

Smith testified there's no tower location from Longoria's phone during prior to the 12:57 a.m. text because he likely turned it off. Smith also testified there was a call at 12:33 a.m. from Longoria to girlfriend Eva Brown, who testified Longoria told her he was on his way home.

Something is off here...if his was off prior to the 12:57 text, and after the inital texts to AD before he picked her up, then how did they know about the 12:33 call to Eva? Same with next bit of info...prior to 12:57 am...he was at the plant prior to 12:57. Again the blooper of 1:40 am on AD's phone disconnect and the 12:10 tracking of the phone to Love's.
^^^^
According to Smith, cell-phone tower data indicates that Longoria's phone went to the asphalt plant, which is where Debolt's phone was shut off and no longer gave a signal after 1:40 a.m. Tracking of Longoria's phone then shows he allegedly drove to a Love's convenience store and then drove back to the plant
.

She said Longoria told her if she loved him, she would get rid of the gray Nike T-shirt he was wearing the night DeBolt disappeared, and she did, throwing it out into the street Aug. 23. Longoria told her he had thrown away his windpants, she said.

Cathdawg, did you catch the name of the place she said in her testimony she was going to when this happened. It must of been her work, but I didni't get the name. Anyone know where she works? TIA

Brown also testified DeBolt's sister came to her home Aug. 23 and said DeBolt was last seen in a small, black SUV like Brown's. Brown said she called Longoria, and he said he didn't know anything about it.

He also came home from work after rec'g that call and took the SUV to the car wash. This is also where the timeline of this day gets confusing, because Eva says she was stopped on her way back home from work and went with LE, and AL had to take the car home. ??? What time was she stopped? Also.....the neighbor said the SUV was at Tammy's house that Monday.....what time?

According to Brown, Longoria asked her the night of Aug. 23 to "say he was at Willie J's" house if police asked where he was the night of Aug. 21.

I thought Willie J's was a bar? Is this just a person (Willy J) and he asked both Hugo and her on Monday to cover for him saying he was at his house? If so, who is Willy J?

Defense attorney Tim Frieden asked if it was possible someone could leave DNA evidence, and then later, another person leave DNA evidence that mixed with it. Newman said it was possible. He also acknowledged it was possible someone else's DNA was in the mix that went undetected.

Longoria nodded his head during the hearing when Newman explained the possibilities.

Is he just hedging his bets or could there of been others too. Newman also stated, that the two DNA's he had, were "all at this time."

KBI agent Cory Latham testified he searched for evidence at the asphalt plant after DeBolt's body was found. About two inches of rain the night before investigators were alerted to the site likely washed away any footprints and tread tracks, Latham said, since he only found prints from an investigator and the person who found DeBolt's body.

Per this link it rained late Monday night and on the morning before her discovery at 4 pm. Scroll down 1/2 way on page and there is a place near the date that says "next day". It was also 100 degree that day...good day for tempers to flare and chaos abounding. jmo

Willy J's is north of town, per this article:

Trent Mermis, owner of Willy J's nightclub on the north side of Great Bend,

Found a FB site for them, but don't understand how you maneuver in it:

Hey CA Mom, please come on board her case...we could use more sleuthers here. :)

My guess on the Willy Js house, could it possibly mean he wanted her to say he had been at the owner of the bars house? Just a guess.
HAPPY THANKGIVING ALL!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you to, westsidefox64. I think it's just another bloop because LE went to the bar trying to confirm AL and the 3 musketeers were there.

Still that question of why LE wanted to go thru Willy J's trash? Thoughts?

Thanks for the updates guys. I forgot about the trial starting in Nov for AL. There seems to be so much evidence against this guy that he gets the DP hopefully. Anybody can see that this guy is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

hollyblue, Sorry I did not catch were EB said she was going.....

PS I heard back from the reporter, she said the Pre Trial was too long to provide it online, damn!

She also told me about her blog. I have responded back and said I am aware of the blog but the time line does not appear to be accurate (also the texts). I hope she will respond back.

I have been away however I just wanted to wish Everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving.

This solves the mystery who Lisa Brown is.

http://www.hutchnews.com/Obituaries/Brown--Terry-CP--1

I gather Dad remarried and that union had other Children including Lisa.

Nice find. Too bad we had find out under these circustances. This was EB's father's marriage to HJ. So LB-44, RB-46, and TB-48 are EB's half-siblings. Looks like LB's mother remarried after that again too.

I am not sure about this link and if it will provide the audio of the Pre trial however if it does, this will be helpful. It states that the oral arguments are posted about a week after the case. I am keeping my fingers crossed! I am not sure if a Pre trial is considered an 'Oral Argument'. Any 'Legal Beagles' out there that could clarify this? TIA

http://www.kscourts.org/kansas-courts/supreme-court/archive/archived-arguments-October-2010.asp

Unfortunately, I think this is only for the supreme court.

I drove thru Great Bend last month for my son's football game in Larned. The drive takes us right past the concrete plant AL worked at and where AD was found. I took a couple pictures, may I post them here?

Also, I am going to GB this weekend (hopefully) to help my parents move. I'm thinking of getting pictures of the Love's gas station he went to, and then driving to the plant, then back to the house he was living in to see how much time elapsed. If there is anything, or any pictures anyone wants while I'm in town, let me know. I'd be happy to take them.

Driving west on Hwy 56. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/10995277@N06/5226548744/" title="_A160723 by brooke_rn_05, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5207/5226548744_dfdd64b2e9.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="_A160723"
The plant is on the left hand side of road, not far from road, all equipment, rock, etc was clearly visible. Even saw the small "pond" on the property, just wasn't able to stop and get pics.
