Her brother started a seeking funds to offer as a reward and hire a PI. It can be found by searching "Finding Ashley" on . More pictures are available there. Her brother states that she has two young children. Very worried for this mother....can't find any current information on her marital status.

Uh oh.

Officers filed a report for aggravated battery and criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Bronco Way in Ogden, Kansas, on September 16, 2017 at approximately 10:10 PM. Officers listed Ashely Meiss, of Ogden, Kansas, as the victim when she reported a suspect known to her damaged her bedroom door and battered her.

When I have a brief look for the possible separated husband I find only a military PO (LinkedIn). Maybe, there are tens of men with his name, don't know.
Separated, incidents with police, maybe ex with profession as said - doesn't sound good for this young woman, unfortunately.

Family and friends fear Meiss set out to harm herself, and are pleading with her to come home.

Meiss has been battling PTSD as she also slogs through a divorce and child-custody battle with her active-duty husband, her dad said.

Meiss was spotted the next day at a post office, where she received one letter that appeared to contain bad news, her dad said.

Perhaps her PTSD is the cause for lack of custody? Some sufferers of PTSD actually realize that they cannot be the parents their kids need...

I wonder who had custody of the children at the time. AM's father said he was taking the 2 kids back with
him to keep them from all the drama.

Thanks to all you awesome sleuthers who found out so much info quickly. I live about 15 minutes away from Ogden and will certainly keep an eye out for her but between her relationship issues and having PTSD I'm not feeling positive, hopefully she just took off for a little bit to get away from her problems.
