Youth advocates are concerned for a teenager missing for months from northeast Kansas.

Elyias Munsell, 13, was reported missing on May 23, 2023. His case was recently added to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s website.

Missing since: May 23, 2023

Age when reported missing: 13

Height then: 4’0’’

Weight then: 60 pounds

Hair: Light brown

Eyes: Brown

How is he only just now being reported missing? is this a custodial thing? Is this a CPS thing? I hope little dude is okay

He's 13, they are calling him a "runaway," but it wasn't widely reported (by media) in May? Why not? Who did he live with, and where did they think he went?
I hope he's safe.

ETA: I do see a social media post for him in August.

This says he was 12 when he went missing. But also says blue eyes rather than brown:

That looks like a VERY old picture, and it's hard to believe a 13 year old is 4 feet tall and 60 pounds. Lots of info lacking on this boy. Prayers he is found safe somehow.

just hoping this case doesn't go the way of alleged runaway Robert Bonsai Bee, Jr., of Pekin IL. Robert was also a small for his age 13 year old whose body was eventually found and while foul play is suspected his case is still not solved.

My thoughts too! I have looked and looked and there is next to nothing about him. So sad that he was missing for months, no posts until August time?! What is the justification for that? I wish we had more information to work with here.
