'No new developments': Search continues for missing Cowley County woman
A search remains underway for a missing 69-year-old woman in Cowley County who was last seen Friday.
COWLEY COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A search remains underway for a missing 69-year-old woman in Cowley County who was last seen Friday.
The Cowley County Sheriff's Office says Janet J. Spoon was last seen in the area of 121st Rd. and US 160 Highway when her vehicle became disabled. It is believed she left on foot. Mrs. Spoon's vehicle was found by her spouse around midnight Friday night after she never returned home.

As of 1p.m. Sunday, the sheriff's office reported no new developments in the search, but the Sheriff’s Office continues to follow up on all leads coming into the Office, according to Sheriff Dave Faletti.

It is believed she left on foot. She is 69-year-old, a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, approximately 5-foot-6 and 103 pounds.
