GUILTY KS - Kansas City Mother Nearly Drowns Two Daughters, 1 and 4

The mother of two children who were taken to a hospital Tuesday night in Kansas City, Kan., has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

According to charging documents, prosecutors say Green held the children under water for a prolonged period of time until they were unresponsive. Police said she's the one who made the call for help.

Last April, when Johnna Green tried to drown her two young daughters, she was in the delusional throes of schizophrenia.
