Update: Salina police have arrested a man they call a "person of interest" in the disappearance of Kristin Tyler.

Joel Heil was arrested at a hotel in Abilene on a probation violation and failure to appear.

Family members say a body found northwest of Salina this afternoon is 27-year-old Kristin Tyler.

good grief! that makes 3, possibly 4, cases i'm following in which bodies have been found today!

The remains were found in an area west of I-135 and south of I-70 near Stimmel Road. Road blocks have been set up.

In a news release, Saline County investigators confirmed a body was found. They said more information would be released at a news conference Friday morning at 9:30.

From a glance at the map it doesn't appear to be. But I'm not that familiar with Salina.
