Sedgwick County Jail records show Tyne Blunt was booked Tuesday for first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated child endangerment. Her bond has been set at $750,000.

Codefendant Daniel Martin was charged last week with first-degree murder and child abuse in Tiuri's death.

Blunt’s next court appearance is set for Dec. 29. She remains in the Sedgwick County Jail, held on a $750,000 bond.

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 27-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of her 4-year-old son in Wichita last week.

Sedgwick County Jail records show Tyne Blunt was booked Tuesday for first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated child endangerment. Her bond has been set at $750,000.

Officers responded the afternoon of December 8 to the report of an unresponsive child at River Walk Apartments on South Topeka. Police say the boy identified by court records as Tiuri Blunt-Porrata, died at a local hospital.
