KS - Nacole Winter, 15, raped & murdered, Topeka, 11 Dec 2006

That is why I said there are websites for that, too. (Recall, I'm into the whole bdsm thing.) There are extremes where women WANT to be controlled and degraded. Seems to me, unless the person is into murder, specifically, there are other options to get what they want, without killing in addition.

Not condoning what they are doing, of course, but if they can find a consensual party to outlet on - that's always good.
I SO agree with your thoughts on this subject, Glitch. You can find willing participants for every kink imagineable...literally, at your fingertips. I think when it comes right down to it, people who truly want to rape and not just act out fantasies don't want to think there is any sort of willingness. They want a victim, not a playmate.

Nacole Winter walked away from school in November and her burned body was found in a field near the Shawnee County golf course a few weeks later.

Police have sorted through hundreds of leads and a source close to the investigation tells 49 News detectives have a more than 200-page report in the case. That source said they have linked Winter’s death to adult men who entice young girls into having sex with them.

Just one week after her body was found, police sent out an e-mail warning residents about FLIP parties, in which groups of men invite teenage girls to a party. When they arrive, the girls are asked to remove their clothes and have sex with them. If they refuse, they’re assaulted and raped.

Police said they have developed some significant leads in the Winter case.
While our source said police believe they know who killed her, they still need additional information from the public so they can send the case to the district attorney for prosecution.

If you have any information about Winter’s homicide or FLIP parties, call detectives at 368-9400. You can also call police anonymously by calling Crimestoppers at 234-0007. You could receive a $2,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.

I hope LE gets the information they need to put the perp(s) away.

Some info about "FLIP" parties:

http://www.49abcnews.com/news/2006/dec/22/flip_party_victim_comes_forward_police_say/
Topeka Police say a victim of what are being called flip parties has come forward. The parties involved teenage girls who are left alone with several males. This often results in their rape or sexual assault, officers say.
Police say the victims are often reluctant to report these kinds of crimes.
Major John Sidwell says it's a serious problem parents need to know about.
"Parents need to make sure that they're watching where their kids are going and make sure there's adult supervision and that the party is a party they want their kids to go to," Sidwell said.
If you have any information about any flip party, call police at (785) 368-9422.

They are called Flip Parties, and officers say they can end in young girls being assaulted or raped.
Police say teenage girls are being invited to these Flip Parties where they will be alone with several males. Officers say that's when the girls are asked to remove their clothes and have sexual contact with one or more of the males, and if they refuse, they are assaulted and raped.

Also, this crew calls themselves FLIP ladies:

Good Lord, i have never heard of such a thing as a "Flip" party.. is this a relatively new thing? I hope LE has undercovers on such things.
Maybe the person who murdered Nacole was a smoker and had the lighter handy, burning her to destroy evidence as an afterthought? I wonder if they found any cigarette butts in the area, they might be able to get DNA off that and match it.
My prayers to Nacole's family.

The 25-year-old also plead guilty to aggravated indecent liberties with a child and criminal discretion of a body.

Also today, Hall plead guilty to the hammer attacks on a Southwest Topeka couple.

The brother of a man accused in the brutal killing of a Topeka teenager struck a deal in Shawnee County District Court Monday.

Anthony Hall pleaded guilty to charges of attempted second degree murder, attempted rape and aiding a felon. Shawnee County District Attorney Robert Hecht told 13 News the attempted murder charge stems from the beating of a man and a woman in December 2006; the attempted rape charge involves an incident with a 26-year old woman in an apartment complex laundry room; and the aiding a felon charge has to do with the murder of Nacole Winter.

Exactly a month after two of his brothers told horrific details of Christopher Dwayne Hall's part in the strangulation killing of a 15-year-old Topeka girl, Hall pleaded guilty late Friday afternoon to murder and sexual assault.

snip

Hall's convictions in the murder case and the sentencing ranges are:

• First-degree murder of Winter, a life term.

• Aggravated indecent liberties with a child, specifically sexual intercourse with a child 14 or 15, 55 to 247 months.

• Criminal desecration of a body, coffin or urn, a misdemeanor, one year.

Halls convictions in the hammer attack are:

• Attempted first-degree murder of Michael Joseph Delaney, 147 to 165 months.

• Attempted first-degree murder of Jennifer Leigh Hughes, 147 to 165 months.

• Aggravated robbery of Delaney, 55 to 247 months.

• Conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, 31 to 136 months.

It appears consecutive maximum terms would result in Hall being sentenced to a life plus 53 years and three months in prison.

snip

As part of plea agreements with prosecutors, Michael Hall, 27, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and attempted second-degree murder. Anthony Earl Hall, 28, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder.

TOPEKA, Kan. - Two years after he brutally murdered and dumped the body of a Topeka teen, Christopher Dwayne Hall learned his fate for the crime.

Judge Mark Brown Friday sentenced Hall, who pleaded guilty to first degree murder, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, sexual intercourse and criminal desecration of the body of 15 year old Nacole Winter, to life in prison for the murder charge.

snip

Hall was also convicted in a home invasion and hammer attack on a Topeka couple, Jennifer Hughes and Michael Delaney, about the same time as Winter's murder. That brought two charges of attempted first degree murder and aggravated robbery. Hall received 246 months for the attempted murder of Delaney, 165 months for Hughes' attempted murder, 61 months for aggravated robbery, and 34 months for conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

One down.

Potential sentences for Anthony Hall are 55 to 247 months each for the attempted murder conviction and attempted rape and seven to 23 months for the aiding a felon conviction, Hecht said. The sentences depend on his criminal history.

This is the closet I could get to a sentence for Anthony Hall. Nothing on sentencing on Michael Hall, although I could just be tired of looking.
