So sad!! Another poor baby! As soon as I saw her height and weight listed I knew parents were involved. Height and weight are always wildly off in cases like this because parents don't take them to the Dr. therefore have no clue what their 3 year olds measurements are so they just guess when they falsely report them missing. They also rarely have good recent pics of their kids.

OMG!!! I do the exact same thing!!! And it tells me the exact same thing!!! And it’s got to be 99.9% of the time if the story starts with “I just woke up and he/she was gone” it’s a lie.

Officers are still processing the scene, and they have not formally identified the body, but police are fairly certain it is the young girl.

I expect the coroner will determine approximate time of death, and I will not be surprised if it's more than a week ago. (before 4th July according to several comments I have seen)

The online listing says he was booked on the following:

• Abuse of a child; unknown circumstances
• First-degree murder

He will be in the Wyandotte County Jail on a 48-hour hold, at minimum. These are not formal charges at this time.
