If this is Savannah (and, I'm fearful, it is), I wonder how long she has been there ETA: I see this area was searched before (thank you IMHO for following this case!)

Have they said yet if it was a real Lyft she took, which as we know is easily traceable, or was it someone posing as a Lyft driver?

Any information as to where she was planning to go, and if she reached that destination? Still catching up. Sorry if I missed that information, reading everything again from the beginning also.

Bodies have been missed plenty of times! I’d bet that if this is Savannah that she was there in that location since the day she went missing. Moo

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – It has been an emotional and long two weeks for those who knew 23-year-old Savannah Schneider. “Savannah is the most radiant spirit of anyone. She was so kind and trusting and she never met a stranger,” said Abbi Faflick, friend and vigil organizer.

Schneider went missing near Haysville on May 31. Saturday evening more than a hundred people gathered for a vigil to grieve and celebrate her life, “I just think it speaks volumes to how well she was loved and how many people cherished what she brought to this world,” said Faflick.

The crowd was filled with sorority sisters, friends that knew her from camp, and others that never met her. They took time to remember her through song, prayer, and stories on how she touched the lives of many. “She was the nicest person. Almost to a point where you are like, ‘Why are you so nice?’ said one attendee.

I agree. We stood less than 2 feet away from Lucas and missed him. It is quite a devastating thing to realize and I hope the people who were part of the previous searches aren't too hard on themselves. Just...ugh.

There is a lot that LE is not sharing so that even though they are pursuing this as a missing person, it makes me think that they believe it is foul play.
Was it a legit Lyft driver or someone in a van? Did the driver get out of the van or did she get into the van without talking to the driver first? Did the person who saw her get into the van think she seemed hesitant? If a legit Lyft driver, where did he let her out?
Who exactly saw her last? Did she say when she expected to return?
Did she live alone or with roommates?
What was the reason to go to Hayesville?
Has LE looked at her lap top?
I am sure LE has good answers to these questions.

I can understand searchers missing bodies but it always perplexes me when cadaver dogs also miss them. I know this isn't totally unusual but it makes me wonder if the body was actually there during the first search, and if not... where was she? She left home May 31. ('Just me wondering aloud here)
