My daughter's school is literally 15-20 minutes away from Stoneman Douglas. There were AT LEAST 10 schools on lockdown between Thursday and Friday, because of threats. Lots of parents kept their kids home on Friday.

Nope, it's not just Kansas, we had two other local ones with the actual Parkland shooting sandwiched in between:
