Shaila Schlenz, 24, was last seen in Liberal on July 3. The KBI stated Schlenz is a white woman, 5'2" tall, weighs around 115 pounds, and has brown or red hair and brown eyes.

Missing in Kansas: KBI joins search for Shaila Schlenz

Family says they have not heard from Shaila Schlenz since early July. She was last seen on July 3 in Liberal, Kan. Her mother got a text message from Shaila’s phone on July 5.

The 24-year-old said she left her home with only $20, the clothes she was wearing and without her identification, a cousin tells KAKE News.

*SHARE* On Aug. 22 the Liberal Police Department requested our assistance to support their search for a 24-year-old missing woman who has not been seen or heard from since early July.
Shaila Schlenz, 24, was last seen in Liberal on July 3, by her family. Schlenz is a white female, 5’ 2” tall, weighing approximately 115 lbs., with brown or red hair, and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding the disappearance, or the current whereabouts of Schlenz, is asked to call the Liberal Police Department at 620-626-0141, or the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME.

During this initial investigation, it was learned that Shaila had a boyfriend, Hunter Abdnor who also resided with Shaila. In June, Liberal police units responded to an attempted arson call at a trailer Shaila and Abdnor resided in. Shaila reported Abdnor attempted to burn the trailer. Abdnor was not able to be located by the police and has active felony warrants for his arrest if located.

I am glad they have confirmed he is on the lam so we can dig in. So now, where would he go hide? I assume he hasn't made it out of the country. I also wonder what those federal warrants are for - do you think they have evidence leading them to believe he killed her or is he mixed up in something bigger?

Does she have any tattoos? I couldn't see any on her FB, but these could be hidden well with just a shirt, because of where they are located. She didn't show any tats on FB that I saw.

News was just released that KBI believes she may be in Plainview - however from the article it mentions NO evidence only a statement from her mother that she knows people there. I hope LE would have stronger evidence than her Mom's comment before making that statement. Missing Kansas woman thought to be in Plainview

If you look at her brother M's timeline on facebook he makes a reference to a tattoo she has but it's not the one

Her brother has mention of a tattoo on his FB page, but it's not the one in the picture. If someone harmed her I can't see them transporting a dead body from Kansas to Georgia. There's too much risk of getting pulled over and in summer temps there is no way there would not be the smell of death coming from the back of a vehicle should a cop pull them over.
