• She is charged with knowingly transferring a firearm to a convicted felon
• Another ex-girlfriend filed a restraining order, which may have sparked the rampage, according to a Harvey County sheriff

Sloan, who had worked on the Excel paint line with Ford in the past year, said she heard him say “that a lot of people picked on him.”
“He got teased a lot, but he’d tease back,” she said. The teasing was prompted by him not doing his job correctly, she said.
He had been a team leader but was demoted about three months ago, Sloan said. She saw what seemed to be a peaceful exchange between Ford and a supervisor about the demotion.

Cedric Ford should never have been given unfettered access to an evil girlfriend who would illegally give him a gun.

Update: Woman charged with transferring guns to Hesston shooter released on bond

A federal judge released the woman charged with transferring firearms to the Hesston gunman from custody Monday on an unsecured bond.

Sarah Hopkins is accused of giving the guns to Cedric Ford, a convicted felon, last August.

Ford opened fire last Thursday at three locations, including Excel Industries where he was an employee, before being gunned down by law enforcement.

If convicted, Hopkins faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
